@Metalqueen: No, they being so crappy allows the Republicans to not be too good themselves. What they are doing now isn't much different than what they were doing in the 1970's. The NAZI's are more united and tey had 40 years to brainwash the kids.

This is who they are. Listen to the Duran and sort out the pieces.

For the love of god, people, voting R and voting D are the same thing. Its the same party with the same masters. Neither Rs nor Ds have done a single thing while they were in power for as long as I have been paying attention (that's only the past 27 years for what it's worth) to restore the rule of law and put the crony capitalists behind bars. Not a single thing.

I dont share your religious beliefs or agree with some of the items in your platform but serious kudos smiley smiley smiley for taking the risk and putting yourself out there and getting 10% of the vote.

I doubt there is any chance of fixing the system at this point but if there is the slight chance of it happening it is through individuals running on their own convictions. Bravo.

But for the last decade or so this relationship, which was very reliable, has disappeared. Why? Because we're exporting the diesel. Now, with the Russia/Ukraine war on those exports are into a bidding frenzy environment over in Europe. Rather than keep our diesel here and keep its price under control which in turn would suppress inflation we claim there's nothing we can do -- at the same time we cancel leases for new drilling and otherwise obstruct those who would produce oil, driving up their costs.

All of this is intentional policy -- it is not an accident.

Saw an infant formula on Natural News.com, that tries to get close to mothers milk. Formula was from westonaprice.org . This is a new to me site, but appears to be no bs good info. Good explanation of deficiencies of commercial infant formulas and the homemade formulas goal of getting close to human milk.

Large site with adult food info also.

Non GMO and organic to boot.
Some woman comic had a good piece on the benefits of breast milk.

I have been saying it for a long time:

Everything will cost too much and there will not be enough of anything.

Still saying it, still getting the glassy eyed look of willful incomprehension...

It is so interesting how people lie to themselves if something doesnt fit the narrative they want to believe, or if it seems bad. "Why are you such a negative person!"

Now all the talk is about dupply shortages and high prices, I keep saying the same phrase, still glassy eyes as they refuse to admit what is hitting them in the head...

"But it is just cuz of Covid, will resolve soon!". Yep, you wait for that, I am set up with the idea this is the new normal. Until it gets worse, which it will. Do people not read history anymore? Govt price fixing, quotas, ...

Oh, read. That they do not, much less comprehend anything... buncha ticktok idiots.

@Mjc1960 "Breast milk is always available in just the right amount. .."

Always has been the best for the baby!
I am sure there are many other advantages that "science" is not even aware of.

However, if the Mom took mRNA injection, and still the baby survived, is there any possibility of the breast milk harming the child?

Maybe, that why the commercial baby milk is not available anymore to the US babies but is available to the illegal aliens; part of their genocide plan?

We are looking at the reasons Socialist government and bureaucracies always lead to disaster. Who can be so shortsighted to not figure that the plant cannot be shut down over a few days? I can assure you, it wasn't Abbott. Some Bastard in the agency that proclaims the clot shots safe and effective is who.

The Ticker is a religion to me. Karl isn't Jesus, but he has a clue as to what is happening. I know he has been writing able supply chain issues for close to 2 years here. A trillion dollar bureaucracy can't see it coming, but an ISP nerd in Tennessee can?

I still remember the response to 2008. No one saw it coming? There were funds loading up on that mess for 2 years prior to it blowing. How deep is that bullshit?

Dr. Michael Burry wrote an oped in the WSJ in 2009, where he raised the issue of how the experts missed the dog shit disguised as chocolates and an outsider like him could see it 100 miles away. The immediate move by the SEC was to audit him. Cancelled?

We are being ruled by Ivy League fools with no real life experience. They fall prey they are smart, but in truth they are incompetent. DC is full of them. Their only purpose is to occupy government positions.

I was told by an old oil man in the late 1990's that at that time we couldn't have another oil boom because the industry had lost its experienced workers. The college engineers he claimed were next to useless. Their degrees said something, but their real world knowledge was zilch. A person like that can get people killed. DC is full of them and they think they are masters of the universe. They are why bureaucracies lead to disasters.

And here's why: Most Americans from an economic perspective are utterly useless to the productive capacity of the nation. Hence, they have no idea what it means when you define shortage of X to them. Concrete example: Since in my area it's impossible (literally) to rent an excavator (they rent them out to commercial at a lower per diem but longer period of time, and require "approval" to rent them residential), I had an acquaintance trench the 250' for me. I'm installing a repeater and some monitoring equipment.

My son and I went to buy the PVC conduit. I want the whole run to be in conduit so it's easier to vacuum pull anything in the future. Well, I got the last sticks that Lowe's had. And Home Depot has a limit of 30 sticks of the 1" per customer. (All other diameters have limits as well.) I also got the last of the 90 elbows. Plenty for me, but what about the tradesmen who do this on a daily basis?

We have allowed this country to be run by women and beta men. That's the problem. I don't give a rip how many down votes people give me for saying it, but it's the absolute truth. Neither of the two subcategories I just mentioned have any idea what it takes to plumb a supply line or run conduit underground.

That's why you get the glassy-eyed stares, and that's why I *know* we aren't even close to the inevitable rock bottom and depopulation event that's baked in the cake.

Why is the Abbott baby formula plant still shut down, awaiting FDA approval? One person suggested that since it has been 'down' for a while, it's criteria for re-opening is that of a new plant and not that of an existing one. Supposedly new plants must demonstrate a commitment to non-renewable energy. The Abbott plant is said to be struggling with re-tooling their plant to comply with adopting such green measures. I don't know if this is true and I have not been able to find any media accounts to confirm, but it does seem plausible to me.

Agreed, but it'll only correct at all once there's more of an equilibrium between makers and takers. I was just talking to a former coworker the other day about my expectations of a rebalancing act between two ratios: Maker v. Taker, and Man v. Woman. r/K selection has gotten completely out of whack in this country because there was such an abundance of everything. When both the above ratios got out of whack, we exported the inflation and imported cheap Eastern garbage to make it look like a wash.

When times are a-plenty, people who have no business breeding do exactly what pine voles do. When scarcity looms, the pine voles die off and breed a lot less. Women are going to have a hell of a time convincing a man to breed where we're headed. Just like the Dark Ages, at least until the Plague introduced us to shortages of labor and an increase in wages.

That is probably worthy of a thread of its own. I have also opined here about how tough it will be for a woman in the future US to get a husband, let alone have children.

Men are wising up to what a raw deal marriage has become in the US and many are simply walking away.

With the recession in progress and getting worse, and the Supreme Court becoming more deferential to states' rights (which is the way it should be), I wouldn't be surprised to see a few states legalize prostitution to fund their budgets. Watch the feminists go nuts....

Oh, and also, all those bullshit paper-pushing bureaucrat jobs created for women the last 30 years are going away.

In the younger cohort, estimates are up to 50% aren't getting married. Men and women are both screwed.

Of course the dating pool is pretty terrible. For starters 50% of Americans are overweight. And most of those are not a few pounds either. Then there's the whole jabbed thing. And the lazy and motivated thing. And the you're a fucking moron thing. Seriously, do some of these girls hear the bullshit that comes out of their mouths?

Let us consider the odds of success for a future US generation:

50% not getting married, 50% of marriages ending in divorce, 50% of pregnancies ending in abortion, some percentage of babies poisoned by mRNA in breast milk etc. etc..

Poor babies, in a nation divided by brain washing through propaganda!

This means that the US will not be US anymore; a wonderful, most successful culture destroyed!

As there is no nation without borders, destruction accelerated by invading armies of foreigners!

All as per an evil plan of a few, and they are even laughing about it, at our collective faces!

But only "together" (330 Million of us), are we all letting it happen!

It'll take an Alpha Caesar to resurrect anything from this corpse; I am firmly convinced of it. It's unfortunate it had to get this bad, but once the pendulum swung so far in one direction, its momentum was bound to whipsaw to the other extreme. Newton's Cradle. I pray it's a Caesar who resembles Charles Martel because history usually produces an Idi Amin.

America has such a dearth of leadership that it's a miracle we're still coasting on fumes. You gave the perfect example: The U.S. CEO. What craven pussies each and every one of them is. I never in my life thought I'd see this once great nation become such a simpering bunch of losers and malcontents. One thing Trump was right about: We don't know how to win anymore.

Machiavelli told us how each and every republic ends in history. Doesn't matter the time or technology, because human nature is constant and unchanging.

Men don't get off the hook on this. They didn't uphold their roles and responsibilities. A friend of mine is situationally aware of world affairs. Good man, I'm sure many readers on here have read his satire online. However, he told me that he just couldn't bring himself to be candid with his wife about how bad things were. He said he loved her and wanted to protect her.

I asked him if perhaps that wasn't what Adam felt when discussing the fruit with Eve? Maybe Adam thought he'd lose that battle but win the war. We know how that turned out. Man bears 50% of the mess in this country. They capitulated on THE battle instead of digging their boots in the ground and laying down an "or else". On everything.

I worked for a software company that created supply chain software.

Take a company like Levi that sold jeans at Academy Sports. Conceptually, sales in the store drove production in the factory. Using economic models, you would predict that in a given week, a specific number of jeans would be purchased. You predicted time in transit for delivery and time in production. And based on a number of factors, production in the factory would be adjusted to produce exactly the number of jeans required in the future, so that your 48W X 30L Levis are the only jeans on the shelf when you put them in your cart.

Surprisingly, they are pretty good at it.

However, when the government steps in and scoops up all production, it does not work anymore.

That is not the supply chain breaking.

That is government taking over production.

When the government takes over production it is socialism.
When the government takes over the economy it is socialism.

There isn't a supply chain problem.
There isn't an economic problem.
There isn't a capitalism problem.

Its called socialism - the new normal.

Join the club. I have explained the situation as follows, and what in the abstract need to happen to fix it. Just like women (and young boys) put up with an inordinate amount of physical and emotional anguish on a societal and sometimes familial level in times past, Western men have been relegated to the same position today.

Men have allowed women's collectivist inclinations to conquer the West. Women are Paleolithic gatherers; they aren't meant to be tribal leaders. Yes, Temujin's wife Borte - as well as the rest of the Mongol women - led their camps in a carve out of duties that encouraged the greater good of the Horde. But they weren't THE leaders. Ask yourself why women love HOAs and suburban life. It's the town square on steroids.

On the flipside, men in times past abused their positions of authority. Oftentimes to terrible extents. Modern-day Western culture is a product of some of that guilt.

If men represent Justice, then women represent Mercy. Ironically and at the extreme ends of Newton's Cradle, neither Justice (when men have gone too far) nor Mercy (when women have) exist at all. The Justice leads to hard tyranny. The Mercy leads to soft tyranny.

It is inevitable that we whipsaw back toward the Justice side of the equation. Frankly, women have no damn clue how bad it's going to get for them if we end up with an Idi Amin. I pray we never do, but unless a Caesar rises to the occasion after the nukes drop - and they absolutely will unless something dramatic changes - we aren't going to end up with Cincinnatus.

And that's who we need: A gentleman farmer who takes no shit from anyone and who backs up his "or else" with action. This man, if he even exists in this country anymore, must be willing to break some eggs but also show some reservation. GEN Washington was THE shining example in our nation's history. Study his Presidency and his actions during the Whiskey Rebellion and you have what we need today, but with one caveat: He cannot answer to a Tower of Babel that is Washington. He must be able to streamline his decisions, but temper them with good judgment based on his personal advisors.

It's actually all of the above. It's a socialism problem, a government problem, a corporate problem, and a supply chain problem. The Founders knew exactly what happens when corporations and government get in bed with each other. The Boston Tea Party was as much about taxation as it was the stifling activities of the British East India Company. Jefferson wanted hard and fast expiration dates on corporate charters.

It's not like the corporations fought against government on the lockdowns. This is exactly like the man vs. woman conundrum mentioned above. It's a lack of a spine, it's the lack of morals, it's pure and unadulterated MBA greed. It's not a mutual exclusivity here. This isn't a EE XOR situation. We are actors in a play that involves the collapse of every noteworthy institution in the West.
