That Which Is Blatantly Unconstitutional....

.... without even an attempt to cite the constitutional basis for being created, should cause the people to contemplate whether the agreement we have in this nation -- known as the Constitution -- is as void as was that with England in 1776.

I speak of this "Ministry of Truth" nonsense currently being put forward.

I will remind you that the head of DHS was challenged the other day in Congress to enumerate any so-called "white supremacist" or even any "domestic" investigation that they had done which led to a criminal referral.

He couldn't cite even one such instance.

Mayorkas can claim whatever he wants as to "who this new board" will monitor, but it matters not.

The very attempt to "police" that which the government claims is "false" is unconstitutional and therefore illegal, and any such act violates not only the First Amendment but also 42 USC 1983 which provides no exception for any member of the government and in fact is directly alimed at officials of the government.

Never mind that the government currently demands you buy someone's propaganda.  Our HHS secretary, for example, Levine, is a man.  A man who wishes he was a woman, but irrespective of said wish that person is a man, was a man at the moment of conception and nothing that said person can do will change that.  This is a biological fact and thus the claim that one is misgendering said person is flat-out bull**** never mind that nobody has any right to demand that you call them anything they demand whatsoever; you're perfectly free to use the word "*******", for example, as someone's pronoun if you'd wish in America -- so says the First Amendment.

This "board" is a-priori illegal, unconstitutional and since Mayorkas in fact serves at the pleasure of the President who has not removed him -- which he certainly could immediately do, and make clear that this is unacceptable then the same liability attaches to the entire Executive including the President himself.

When in the course of human events should be first and foremost on your minds about right now, my friends.

Blatantly illegal, tyrannical and unconstitutional. Yes, yes, and yes. They don't care what laws they violate. They are above the law and they are a law unto themselves.

Silly rabbit, the laws are intended for the sheep and the slaves.

The people in Dementia Joe's cabinet are there to display and showcase the diversity, inclusion and equity platform ... not because of experience and expertise. None of this works out well.

It took 246 years to come full circle to "when in the course of human events ..."

First thing I said to a co worker when this was brought up was - it will be struck down as unconstitutional. Yet another issue Biden should be impeached over. This is what, the 2nd or 3rd blatantly unconstitutional thing he has done just domestically. The rent mortarium, the jab mandate and now this.

Quote:
But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. -- George Washington

@Susan I am a bit surprised we actually lasted 246 years. Although one could argue this tyranny has been going on for a few decades now at least.

This act alone should cause the citizens of this nation to rise up and cast off the present government. But bread and circuses will prevail and nothing will be done. I am an old man, so it matters little to me, but I morn the life my grandchildren will live.

"when in the course of human events ..." has been on my mind for a while. It's worth rereading the whole document from which that phrase is quoted.

@susanlauren - agreed. Many would call the leadership class hypocrites, but you have correctly noted that they know they are engaging in a double standard. As Christina Pushaw said, "it's not hypocrisy, it's hierarchy." They are convinced they are above the rest of us.

You know, some animals are more equal than others.

The post and comments are spot on and offer me encouragement this morning to believe the fire has not gone out in a critical group of people who will ultimately be the New Founding Fathers of the next incarnation of America. Let it burn and the Phoenix will rise again from the ashes!!!

The leftist statist socialists know that they cannot defend their positions so they must shut everyone else up, or risk losing the debate to voices of reason. We can't have that!

Tyranny cannot exist if it is continually called out by those who watch the man behind the curtain. Tyranny demands silence from all dissenting opinions.

Socialism and tyranny are exactly what all this us about.

And just by Karl's writing this - and us replying - we have likely already made the newest list of this new ministry of "truth." So be it... What's one more?

The ONLY positive I see coming out of this is how blatant they're being, essentially triple-dog-daring us to do something about it. When you get so Orwellian that you don't even hide the name(s) of it any longer, yeah, that's the end stages.

I asked my nominally conservative work friend what she thought about this today. She gets her news from BBC, NPR, CNN, etc. She didn't know anything about it. I thought that was interesting. I know Mayorkas has been on some of the MSM Sunday shows to discuss it.

No ****. I'm seriously doubt we are are making it through the summer. Now we have the "leaked" SCOTUS opinion which at this point in time is outright throwing gasoline on the fire. smiley Actually, it's more like jet fuel...

And of course it will distract from the more immediate issue of shortages of food, fuel, parts, and well, everything.

By all means, let us know who the individual in question is. That would be great information to share... (so many traitors to the Constitution, so many possible sight lines...)

Golly gee,

Yet another example of democrap tyranny.

If you know their voters, you clearly understand why they act they way they do, and crave this kind of insanity.

When we were young, the nation was generally conservative and sane. And actually protected the rights of the minority, and understood the potential dangers of political power and tyranny of the majority. We actually learned that in public school!

Now look at these feral leftist indoctrination camps. Are their ANY sane teachers?

Today leftists have the political reigns due to sheer numbers (immigration, women, minorities). The media carries their propaganda like the paid marxist presstitutes they are, so does the entire entertainment cabal. So much for "freedom of the press"!! It was fun while it lasted.

You see what is coming. Deny all you want. It won't change. Their base is beyond stupid, and incapable of reason. And it's growing in number, with many more teeming at the border just waiting for Brandon to hand out the freebies (and democrap voting card).

If you think things are bad now.....just wait until the millennial gets behind the political wheel. Think of AOC and Pocahontas running wild.

Prepare yourselves.

I have posted in jest a few times about what I referred to as the Ministry of Truth which is the de facto conspiring of government and their likely three letter agency bought off or controlled mouthpieces in the media. Now the Ministry of Truth will become de jure. While they're busy building this new police state agency, perhaps the head of the agency will have a proper title like Commissar of the Ministry of Truth. I bet that OBiden prevaricator Jen Psaki will tell us that the agency's mission will be to preserve truth, justice, and the American way and that the new director is stronger than a speeding locomotive, faster than a speeding bullet, and can leap tall buildings with a single bound. We shouldn't be surprised that the proposed new director is a tribesman like Mayorkas. The Defamation League's long sought hate speech laws are closer to fruition. All you have to do to see that the OBiden administration is conducting a campaign against white men and women who aren't ashamed of their heritage is to look at the makeup of his cabinet.
While we're telling truth, let's rename the Department of Defense, headed by former body double to Idi Amin and watermelon and rib aficionado Lloyd Austin, the Department of Fighting Russia to the last Ukrainian.

We're about to see how far the government can push Americans.

With all that's been said above -- and given everything that is occurring --- I've long said, for over 15 years (probably circa 2002 or 2003) the U.S. of A. was/is over the cliff, it is just a matter of how hard we land.

In addition, everything is working together to bring about the instability and break down of how the U.S. of A. operates. Some have stated we will not make the mid-terms; I've been saying since last Fall that somehow, someway, something is going to happen for our gooberment to declare some emergency and bring about martial law.

Al Gore summed up what is the current state of our federal government: No controlling legal authority".

We are the government before the Magna Carta with the usurper, Prince John and his coterie in charge of the government subjecting all to his tyranny.

We lost our freedoms and constitution when the 16th and moreso when the 17th amendments passed. The 16th made every person's body the possession of the Federal government and a criminal subject to Federal whim, and the 17th removed the state government control of the senate with the ability to control extremes in the federal government.

No controlling legal authority.

The political weaponization of government branches, departments, and services has seemed to ratchet up significantly in the last 10 years. Or it could be true I was simply ignorant of what's been going on much longer.

When the right takes power, being the same monsters, but with different color stripes, it will be interesting to see what happens. Their first instinct will be to seize the reins, take the power and control, and use it for their own political/nest feathering purposes.

But the problem they face is that the instruments they hope to abuse the same way their predecessors did are full of their political enemies. So, it seems, their only choice will be to try to take them out at their knees. That will spork more rioting, coinciding with markedly worsened inflation, and economic collapse.

Such are the tinders that spark revolution, military coups, and totalitarian rule.

I just don't see how we walk it back. Too many cats already out of the bag and neither the people in power, or the people in general care at all, and when they do, it will be upon us.

Without any doubt we are reaping the rewards of the government we asked for demanded.

Americans (and perhaps humans in general) in the majority have always shunned the rigors and responsibilities of real freedom in favor of having govco "do something about X".

Well, here we are. We should not be surprised.

When you and yours get ****ed, do not call it******for you (as have we all) consented; and therein lies the rub. Lube up, bitchez.

Blatantly unconstitutional! Yes indeed! "Ministry of Truth", straight out of the book by George Orwell!

Also, there is no enforcement of existing anti-trust laws that have been there on the books for a hundred years, as Karl has been pointing out for a long time. The government has been ignoring outright violations of laws that are there for protection of the people, in almost all business sectors, and selectively enforcing laws, and constantly "manufacturing" new laws, against the people while favoring the corporations.

The Biden administration itself is illegitimate, having blatantly stolen an election in broad daylight. They cannot be expected to do anything lawful.

Why and how are the criminals getting away with "murder" and who are the powers behind them? It is obviously the corporations who have penetrated the government and the bureaucracy, and are in full control of it. But how? By lobbying and bribing and pushing hard for decades! And what have the people done? Played with their smartphones! The people are the enablers that have allowed the government to stay addicted to the power that the governments, federal state and local, shamelessly enjoy while even laughing about it!

If the people want to see change, here are some links on suggestions for Action Plans and Strategic Goals:
