Time to revolt yet?

Amid the dire Covid warnings, one crucial fact has been largely ignored: Cases are down 77% over the past six weeks. If a medication slashed cases by 77%, we’d call it a miracle pill. Why is the number of cases plummeting much faster than experts predicted?

In large part because natural immunity from prior infection is far more common than can be measured by testing. Testing has been capturing only from 10% to 25% of infections, depending on when during the pandemic someone got the virus. Applying a time-weighted case capture average of 1 in 6.5 to the cumulative 28 million confirmed cases would mean about 55% of Americans have natural immunity.

It's actually higher because as we know existing coronaviruses give some measure of protection.  This means we reached the magic 66% somewhere, and right now they're jabbing arms -- but doing so indiscriminately including people on which the shot is wasted as they already had the disease.

In fact between those who had it (which we could detect with a $2 antibody test) and those who are previously immune in at least part two out of three shots are going into arms where they confer nothing because the person getting the jab is already immune.

I pointed this out when the case rate started falling like a stone before the first jab went into the first arm.  The pattern has continued since.  It has not materially accelerated, and won't because most of the jabs confer only risknot protection.

At the current trajectory, I expect Covid will be mostly gone by April, allowing Americans to resume normal life.

It's gone now.  In my county the 7 day moving average case rate is, as of today, sixteen percent of the high.

But the fear isn't and neither are the mandates.  Nor will they be -- Biden has promised to keep them until the end of 2021 at least and so has Fauci.

So have the governors, with only three exceptions thus far.

IF YOU LET THEM.

I have argued for months that we could save more American lives if those with prior Covid-19 infection forgo vaccines until all vulnerable seniors get their first dose.

Note: He argued this for months.

So did I.

But we didn't do it, and we knew how too -- for $2/per person right before the shot.  If you're positive you don't get it.

Some medical experts privately agreed with my prediction that there may be very little Covid-19 by April but suggested that I not to talk publicly about herd immunity because people might become complacent and fail to take precautions or might decline the vaccine.

In other words, lie.

Again.

Who is this guy?

Dr. Makary is a professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Bloomberg School of Public Health, chief medical adviser to Sesame Care, and author of “The Price We Pay.”

A professor at one of the so-called "public health" folks who refused to test a single existing drug with their copious tax immunity, preferring instead to foster fear, which they are still inculcating in both their students and the public at-large.

Yeah.

I told you so folks.  I told you so when the curve turned and I put forward a revised model in November for immunity in this county, which I presented to the County Commission and to our Mayor.

Who immediately and continually have ignored it since.

I sent it to Governor Lee who also ignored it.

By the most pessimistic computation within the Confidence Interval given the data leak of Ct numbers and backed up by Musk's 4-in-one-day test fiasco in November we are, in this county, 2 days from suppression as of right now.

The truth?  We're already there as our 7 day moving average stands at 31, a grand sixteen percent of its high at 200.

Now the question: Given this admission in print, in the Wall Street Journal, that multiple experts confirm this professor's calculations -- and mine -- and yet Johns Hopkins along with others are deliberately concealing this from you please explain to me why you are still hiding in fear rather than telling every single government official at all levels to stick it up their ass and ignoring their mandates -- backing that up with whatever you must.

You have black ink in one of the most-reputable newspapers on the planet from a subject matter expert that you have been and continue to be deliberately deceived and threatened with death on an unwarranted and unlawful basis for the purpose of inculcating fear.  That is the definition of terrorism.

The people outnumber these ghouls by 300:1 all the way up the line -- local, state and federal.

Will you finally stand up, remove your masks and tell them to all to **** off?

Ive been saying since the election that the coof will go away on May 1st. This puts us just on the other side of Joes 100 day mask mandate and he can claim victory as the big hero. Then shortly after he will get taken out by the Ho.

Upper midwest it's over here too. MN, SD, ND, IA..all in the 10 to 15% range vs the 7 day moving average peak. Mandates all still in place.. altho Tyrant Walz wants kids back in school finally. Screaming Karens still harping about masks as well.

Looks like simple Lysine might also do the trick.

EBT, thanks for posting.

Linus Pauling popularized lysing with vitamin C to prevent build up in the coronary artery.

Since the coronary artery takes the most stress (it's next to the heart) it suffers cracks and tears. If insufficient collagen building material is not available (lysine and proline) and not enough ascorbate to hydroxylate them, circulating Lp-a will bind to the frayed ends of the damaged collagen fibers to patch it up... In a half-assed way which will allow more plack to pile-on.

Yes, that is interesting regarding Lysine.

About a month ago I started adding L-Lysine powder to food for rescue kittens as an immunity booster. Although efficacy for specifically treating FHV-1 seems to have been recently disproven, as an essential amino the other general potential benefits have been promising enough to give it an informal trial.

After buying the "cat grade" I looked up the "people grade" supplement, and to my chagrin, it is actually less expensive - I should have checked first.

Since protein-rich foods are high in Lysine and I am primarily Carnivore, I opted not to purchase for my own personal experimentation. I wasn't aware of using it as a hangover remedy; perhaps having a bottle around isn't a bad idea after all.

It has been bandied about in a few Keto/Carnivore groups that these WOEs support better outcomes when exposed to Covid-19. Perhaps Lysine level is another factor.

i agree that masks are at best neutral, but for the most part cause problems. i ignore msm and cdc state regarding c-19.
BUT, i will continue to wear a mask were required. i want to avoid the drama
of going maskless, but will admire the daring of those who do so.

i am going to pick my battles and which hill to die on, but will employ a passive/aggressive tactic regarding "maskgate".

@ Norkar:

There are a couple of eBay sellers who are offering 2 inch round "I have Asthma medical alert" hand made pin on buttons that you can wear into stores and supermarkets. Bought a pair last fall and it works for me to get in maskless nearly all the time.

Once in a while I get asked to show them my inhaler, then I'm stuck. But for $25 you could buy an over the counter Primatine Mist inhaler. (Haven't had to go that route yet.)

The immunity level in the population is even greater than the good doctor suggests. It is clear that there is immunity from sources other than the WuFlu. Perhaps other Corona bugs.

It's high time to open this bitch back up. We are still mandated that no gatherings of any size indoors or out. Masks everywhere. Offices at 10% capacity. Schools open then there's one "case" and back to home schooling with 20% of the students put into isolation for two weeks. These poor ****ers STILL think they can prevent everyone from getting this thing. Meanwhile this county does not have a single Covid case in the hospital and hasn't for weeks. 19 total deaths 18 of them in the same nursing home. The other death was from heart issues, but of course, it officially got labeled as WuFlu. WHAT A ****ING JOKE!

Pathetic incompetence.

Here is what I think I am seeing in the data.

The country as a whole, and many of the states, peaked out on new infections ~14 days after Christmas. From then on the number of new cases has been dropping like a stone in a surprisingly linear fashion.

As a cause for that I have two explanations. After getting together with family for Christmas and sharing C-19 all around, everyone went back home for January (and February), the most inhospitable months of the year. As a result, lack of interaction has drastically reduced the number of new cases.

Two, the country as a whole, and many states, hit herd immunity thanks to Christmas. There is ample data to back this as most states that peaked after Christmas hit 7% to 9% total confirmed cases as a percentage of the population. If there are 6 unreported cases for each confirmed case that puts those states on the edge of herd immunity with 7% confirmed definitely at herd immunity with 9% confirmed.

Three. Both of the above being true is not only possible, to me it appears to have a respectable degree of probability of having happened. If either two or three is correct there will not be any more surges of cases, only small rises that fade. The caveat in that being that no new strains appear.

So, the $64 question; how long until we know if any of the above is correct? The May 1st date mentioned above is not a bad pick at all. The southern 1/3 of the country will have had 6-8 weeks of decent weather by then.

FWIW, I know of several families where one person had the C-19 symptoms and got a positive diagnosis, everyone else in the family got sick as well and did not bother with getting tested. I also know of cases where one or two in a family got sick and the other one or two did not. Finally, almost everyone I know is taking vitamin D now, something that could be very important.

How much are the providers getting reimbursed for the jab? None of the people I know that have had it had have to pay anything. It seems to me this is just a continuation of the testing scam, and the hospitalization scam for positive covid tests, hospitalizations and ventilator payments. I am sure providers were given hefty reimbursements for testing, hence the push to get tested! get vaccinated! etc...

I had to take my dad to the local hospital emergency room last night. There was a grand total of 3 other people waiting. Lots of employees standing around gabbing, but at least they weren't TikTok dancing.

Speaking of masks, I just had a rather unexpected realization.

For all of the pearl clutching about the Jan 6 activity at the Capital, how much complaining was made in media about it being a COVID super-spreader event like just about every other meeting/protest by the right in the last 4 years?

Now, there could be an explanation. Maybe folks on the left TRULY can't hold the idea of two perceived dangers in their mind at the same time 1) the danger of injustice happening somewhere 2) the danger of getting COVID via group activities, which is why there were never complaints about the BLM protests during the summer being potential super spread events.

Ok, that was my Friday Afternoon New Yorka super-sarcastic moment....smiley

Here in small town MS , schools are open, some folks masked up , little more than half. I wear one to enter the big box store. Then take it off. No one has said anything, I get some hard stares, but no comments. An armed society, is a polite society.
I keep a mask handy, because the store owners have the right to force a mask. Just like I have a right to shop elsewhere .

I don't believe the masks work. I don't believe social distancing works. I don't believe the vaccines are safe or effective. It's all bull****.

I've been shopping in the neighboring county. The same governor mandated mask B.S., but the difference is that their sheriff came out in the beginning and said he will not enforce any such orders. Consequently there is probably a 20% mask compliance over there AND many fewer cases and hospitalizations and deaths per capita there than in this county. They are at the state's arbitrary "level blue" restrictions while here we are at arbitrary "level orange".

For the past week in Maryland, 49% of Covid deaths were people 80 years old or older. Eighty. In the entirety, 43 of 7500 Covid deaths in Maryland have been those under age 30. That is 0.57% of all Covid deaths in Maryland are in those under 30.

This fact did not stop University of Maryland authorities from imposing new restrictions on students and the Ivy league from shutting down spring sports.
