Over the last four years there has been a symbiotic relationship between the swamp and Silicon valley regarding the defeat of OMB. Trading monopoly status for information control both have now succeeded.

Unfortunately for TPTB, due to unintended consequences, Silicon valley now controls everything.

Trump didn't say anything about violence. People just imagine it or "know what he really is thinking". Here's the full transcript and the quote in question.

https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/trumps....

Quote:
My fellow Americans, for our movement, for our children and for our beloved country, and I say this despite all that's happened, the best is yet to come.

So we're going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue, I love Pennsylvania Avenue, and we're going to the Capitol and we're going to try and give - the Democrats are hopeless, they're never voting for anything. Not even one vote - but we're going to try and give our Republicans, the weak ones because the strong ones don't need any of our help, we're going to try and give them the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country. So let's walk down Pennsylvania Avenue. I want to thank you all.

God bless you. And God bless America. Thank you all for being here. This is incredible. Thank you very much. Thank you.

If the relationship is somehow recoverable, you might try that line of reasoning.

Once a well has been pissed in...

I'd email the guy a link to the video showing Biden admitting he has a fraudulent system in place to steal the election, and title the email: Exhibit A Case Closed. Then I'd ask, "Since when is an admission to Treason, not evidence"?, Have a nice life...loser.

It's not her fault the government is corrupt at all levels, and fighting to keep the people from having their day in court to present evidence.

Trump, today, still has the power to declare martial law to save the country from these communists, if he has the goods, but crickets.

@Spence- Then after making that comment he retreated back to the White House, instead of leading the walk to the Capital building where his fruitless efforts could continue. Trump can eat a bag of dicks for all I care.

To add to a part of Playdough2's comment: I went back and read a transcript of Trump's speech on Wednesday. Either I'm missing something or the claims of "incitement" are hogwash. The closest I could find was at the end when he asked people to walk to the Capitol and stand outside and cheer to try and give courage to the representatives inside. Was that a good idea? I don't know, maybe not.

I'm no fan of Trump (didn't vote for him and never saw him do much of anything worthwhile to fix our real problems), but I'm also adamantly against holding someone responsible for something they never did. Did he say something worse that I missed?

The fact is the "Employees" were simply an excuse for Beezelebos and the other robber barons to implement their will and silence a platform.

I can't help but wonder if they purposefully implemented an employee survey and then implemented their own desires regardless of the employee desires.

You are right. No one is now safe on "cloud" structures. Get your own damned infrastructure under your own control.

One other thing. No sane employer should hire any former Amazon employees once Amazon infrastructure is targeted and it is out of business. Once a person works for Amazon make them unemployable!

And truthfully at this point I could care less if Amazon dies figuratively or otherwise.

Amazon should realize the delicate nature of their infrastructure. What a shame if the power grid and transformers near their facilities were targeted. I'm sure they have UPS and generators but the $$$ just went up huge to keep running. Imagine damage to telecommunications infrastructure going to such facilities.

Imagine the insurance costs of a facility being constantly targeted. Would be a shame if gasoline got into that diesel fuel for their fleets. So much for that prime delivery when fleets of engines get damaged.

Not a good idea to pick a fight when you are too blind to realize your own vulnerabilities and you depend on the same people you are attempting to harm!

The problem is most people are too happy to sit on their asses with their creature comforts to do anything. Same goes for any merchant still on that platform.

I no longer have any business with Amazon.

For those that still want to keep their accounts with prime . Order lots of Amazon essentials and send them back as defective. More $$$$ lost. Stream movies 24/7 across their servers. Jam up the infrastructure and overload it.

Want to play effing games then you'd damned better understand those with nothing to lose have everything to gain!

Told some of my friends who would listen to get ready for darkness. I even advised them to go back to snail mail for some. Also told some folks to get a LOT of SD cards/thumb drives.

Told the wife I wanted a hosting/game server of our own. NOW I can justify it with this.

who knows maybe a new 'side gig' (/sarc off)

@playdough2...

Your post resonates and is this year in a nutshell.

As a few have said here already, sorry to hear this news.

Know that you are not alone. This year has revealed to many the blind allegiance and willful ignorance that has seeped into our great country.

Many relationships have been seriously strained or have ended, as sadly yours did, because of the polarization and partisan rhetoric.

My solace comes from the deep down feeling that it was all clearly designed, engineered, and implemented to cause the very dissidence we are seeing, discussing, and experiencing.

I know that you understand this, but in my own struggles with friends, family, and partner it helps to understand we didnt fall for the propaganda and are of like minded humans that are proud to continue to research, question, debate, and think for themselves...

Thank you for sharing and, if you can, be quite proud you are on this side too.

Cheers!

As I said in my 2021 Ticker -- my best friend is likely to remain my CAT.

A HUGE percentage of the people I knew have been downgraded to "acquaintance" -- or even "NPC" over the last nine months.

@Playdough2, I am sorry your longtime companion is such a douche. I am not being sarcastic, I sincerely mean it.

After 25 years of marriage, I will tell you that if you disagree on the fundamental principles of life, it does not bode well. It is hard enough when you agree on almost everything.

It may feel like a loss, but it wasn't your fault - you are not a failure. You escaped being unequally yoked to a member of the FSA.
That's just the truth.

Chin up, and prayers for you whether you want them or not.

My point to a T, Karl.

I live in a smallish town and have just stopped saying hello to the NPC's that have shown their true colors.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard some iteration of "I had no idea you felt that way" or "you can't possibly believe that" this year, I would have a good amount of nickels.

As it sounds like you found...

I used the phrase "friend" far too loosely.

Cheers!

When they claimed that there was violent talk in Parler, and that is why they shut it down, they clearly admitted that they were illegally monitoring the site and used that as a reason to shut it down. What other sites are they monitoring? Work for the NSA and act the same way

I mostly have to go online to find people in my same idea range. That's why I am here. I try not to nuke relationships over politics, but I won't bend to the nonsense. It sucks that my parents get all their info from the TV. It's far from balanced and the covid fear campaign is totally unbearable. I completely stopped watching TV news long ago. I can't stand it. Now they wish to dominate the internet.

I once read a definition of "friend" that said, "A friend is someone who knows how to get to your house without asking for directions." I've always thought that was spot on. By that definition I have about three friends and that works just fine for me.

When I checked back in, I was surprised to see so many responses to my earlier post. They are all appreciated, and I wanted to call out these commenters specifically:

Tsherry . . . . . Ruefully, I must concede you are correct. Focusing on the bright side, I will no longer be subjected to his enforced annual flu vaccines, and can now adopt a dog or cat!

Msnlgrinder. . . . . Did not intend my post to be depressing per se obviously it is sad for me, but I intended it more as a sharing of a crystallized moment capturing our current zeitgeist. As you note, people are on edge these days, and differences which would previously have been tolerated, are now cause for hostility. Most everyone is slipping down a rung either materially, or psychologically and may be vulnerable to new solutions which might be presented by government, the media, or other institutions. As a history buff, I find this alarming to contemplate.

Zappafan. . . . . excellent point. I think many of us have been hoping not to be drawn into a direct confrontation, and to work from within the system to resist or mitigate larger social trends. At some point, and it will be different for each person, the wall nonetheless presents itself. And thank you for the debate tip.

Spence. . . . . thank you for the quote. However, I am reminded of an argument with my mother a few months ago, when she insisted that she had heard with her own ears Trump on TV refer to our troops as losers. (I went searching for THAT video as well, to listen for myself and was of course unable to locate it.) What does it mean when society is so poisoned with hostility against a person or group that further undermining is unnecessary because the enmity is so deep that it alters rationality and perception?

Kikknback. . . . . some of us have been red pilled, and others never will be. It is hard to understand how otherwise intelligent, discerning people can fail to see what is so obvious to the rest of us. Normalcy bias is so underestimated!

Txdg00. . . . . Im still looking for the smoking gun myself. You would think if such a comment or video actually existed, it would be all over the MSM.

Delphis. . . . . thank you for your words of encouragement. I agree that the polarization feels engineered, and not accidental. I live in a blue state, and sometimes it is a lonely place.

Tickerguy. . . . . Im employed in an arty environment, where extreme liberalism is the default and NPCs abound. So you would recommend a cat over a dog?

Workerbee. . . . . Yes, relationships are difficult, even between the well-matched. I truly appreciate the prayers and am grateful for them.

With all that has happened since the election, especially how MSM is censoring speech, big tech taking down content they disagree with and the Government's reaction to the Capital building, doesn't this bolster the exact reason our 2nd amendment rights must remain at least as they are now! Think of it, recall the McCloskey's stood their ground defending their personal safety and property from an overwhelming crowd that crashed a gate and threatened to burn down his house and shoot his dogs. Remember the McCloskey's were charged and firearms confiscated following the incident. I'm sure most of our "Congress Critters" applauded them being charged with a crime. Now if under a Biden administration any of the "Congress Critters" want to take away any firearms, simply ask them. Were you afraid for your life when you were outnumbered and didn't know what intent the intruders had in mind? Congress-critters had Capital police to help protect them, with F'ing guns! So now they should have a full appreciation for why an AR with a 30 round mag is appropriate in some circumstances. It's not for hunting A-holes it's for when the mob comes for you.... or tyrannical government.

To address the post of Playdough2 as well as others here, that show that even lifelong friendships and relationships are in serious danger of splitting.. I have tried to convince family and good friends of what I believe they were wrong about. Guess what, that doesnt work and why? Please realise that people believe what they want to believe. Just as your world is a place where you are happy and feel good about, so do they. Trying to convince someone of their wrong is more than often basically impossible because of that. If they dont want to be convinced or even informed of something contrary to their belief, you will not succeed in anything but create serious damage to your relationship. So just avoid the subject where you can, let others in their value and youll be happier for it.
I know it is difficult. But to me its better than making friends into enemies.

Commie schools are a definite problem. The control (and degradation) of the family and the children was priority #1 for a Bolshevik like Lenin. He could then in a few years time reshape the young ones into sick psychopaths like himself. But, add to the mix the literal poisoning of men into partially feminized creatures.
Estrogen is everywhere. Our food is contained in it - hard plastic containers, the 'wrapping paper' in boxed foods. The water supply is filled with it - women******out most of what's in their birth control pill into the toilet every day. (After a quick pass through the sewage treatment plant you and I get to drink that estrogen in a nice cold glass of tap water.) Most soaps, perfumes, and air fresheners are loaded with it. Even sales slips are coated with it. The steady bath of estrogen written into our lifestyle has un-manned too many men.
I guess it's hard to act like a man after one's balls have shrunk, hormonally at least, to the size of a couple of peas.
