@Jack_crabb - regarding "Kate Brown and company should be among the first to experience consequences of communism/totalitarianism." I think I might be able to support some wacky AOC proposals. I think I am all for taxing all income over a million dollars a year at a 95% tax rate. Have a wealth tax of 50% on any wealth over $50 million.
Let the entertainers, athletes, news anchors all take it up the ass for all the idiots they support. Take that Tay Tay, Lebron and Savannah.

Retired microbiologist Dr. Sucharit Bhakti on vaccine states: " I think it is downright dangerous"https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RZDr3Csfol....Assume govt does not mandate. For those employed, should your company mandate, what will you do? Options other than Galt or how do you see this scenario play out?

@A-cat - regarding the vaccine and employers mandating it. A lot of employers including mine have had most of their employees working from home for the last 9 months. If I am told I have to get the vaccine, my response will be, I can continue working from home. For that reason, at least in the white collar world, forcing the vaccine on employees will be a tough sell. In my case, push come to shove, I retire early, financially it would be tough, but it would be doable.
Looking at twitter, it appears lots of health care workers are opposed to the vaccine.

I just - I struggle to comprehend the possession of fear in some people. I've been volunteering for a kitten rescue since May, mostly fostering and providing spay transportation bi-weekly. The lady who runs the organization, who holds a master's degree in education (indoctrinated but not a "commoner"), has, only over the past week, decided to stop seeing me in person when I pick up or drop off kittens. Her reasoning is that, even if I placate her by wearing a mask (as I do at any store that requires them), she knows that I don't believe in them (I tried to encourage her to take the vitamins to strengthen her immune system, and watched her eyes glaze over). Now, I don't work, live in the country, and rarely see other people in person, but now I am an unwashed threat to her. If I didn't care about the animals, I would tell her to eat s**t and get f*ked. She's young and has a child who's been pulled out of all in person interactions over this as well. That poor child is learning how to be terrified of all other humans because they *might* have a cold. I'm so thankful to be older and to have no skin in the future of humanity.

From fellow Oklahoma to fellow Oklahoman (Reformedhippy) this is the fear that is in Tulsa and was on TV day before Thanksgiving -- hazmat suit+mask+face shield ...the TV is scaring people to DEATH. FEAR P0RN 24/7 And these people spoke with a strong spanish accent and were flying to Mexico so the fear is strong with foreigners in the US it seems. That's going to be one messed-up kid.

@Technica - is that real or a joke? If I could find a hazmat suit, I would wear to the grocery store just to scare,******people off and to show everyone just how much of a joke this hole thing is.
I know someone who volunteers at a horse barn, they wear a mask and complain about all the dirt, dust and dander they still inhale while there. Somehow they their mask will stop a virus even though their own experience shows it cannot stop dirt, dust and dander.

@Tickerguy- I saw that Florida was requiring labs to report the Ct values yesterday. Was going to relay that here but as usual you were first with the news. BTW awesome work on the whitepaper. I've got a (revised) copy on my phone to wage war with.

Thecynical wrote..GSU researchers say new drug completely suppresses COVID-19 transmission https://www.wsbradio.com/news/local/atla.... Well ain't that special? A drug that is very likely mutagenic becoming available to "suppress transmission". I think I'll stick to my daily regimen of Vitamins C, D, and Quercetin, thanks. Oh and I'll do the apple-flavored stuff if I should come down with any symptoms.

Yeah, I'm not exactly impressed with that report as of yet. I've seen the report on it.... that one doesn't merit mention yet one way or another.
