I celebrate Karl's decision to not vote in this coming election. That he can make that choice is an aspect that makes America a great country.

I for one am going to take a different path. I will vote and, that vote will be for Trump and the "Red" ticket except in a couple local elections where I know of some Dems who will do more good than the Republican.

Yes, Trump has fallen short on many fronts. Name me a president who has faced a more organized and determined opposition from inside the government, the press and the opposing political party. I think we over estimate the impact of one man or the small dedicated Trump Team. I think about "culture" in my company and how difficult it is to move our culture to that of "continuous improvement" or whatever initiative we are pursuing. My guess is that changing the culture of Washington is a 100 fold more difficult.

I think of the progress Trump has made on reducing illegal immigration, appointing "less liberal" judges than the Blue Team, confronting China, trying to advance peace in the Middle East, taking out some terror bad guys and hopefully ending the Afghanistan war. There are other thing but I would run out of room. Has Trump been perfect ..... far from it, but better than anything Team Blue would have fielded.

I did some readings on the "Red Terror" and the Bolshevik Revolution. I see "Rhymes" in the current movements of BLM and Antifa.

So I will vote Trump knowing that my vote is the lesser of two evils, with the hope that he can continue to make changes that will ultimately change the compass heading of this very large Aircraft Carrier (USA).
