Enjoy it. Thanks for the breakdown!

No problem -- took me a bit to get my gear to deal with a screen cap at full HD resolution and not throw up while trying to save it; the older software I used to use for TickerVideos couldn't hack it but once updated to current revs all was well.

I found the original (?) video on YT and it claims the object was traveling at 3.5 miles per second, or 12,600 mph. Pretty sure any physical object would quickly burn up at those speeds at sea level due to aero friction.

Nice analysis Karl.

The most interesting of such sighting reports involve aerial objects moving at speeds much too low to sustain aerodynamic lift. January 5, 2000 near the town of Dupo, Il near Scott AFB, and the March 1997 "Phoenix Lights" in Arizona. Both reported as large objects moving at under 30 kts.

pffft....advanced alien technology all you doubting Thomases. /sarc

But seriously, Dudefish is on the right track. Most people fail to consider hot stuff gets when moving fast at low altitudes.
For example, Karl's speed guesstimate was about Mach 3 and a real world example says:
Google search wrote..
Q:When an SR-71 Blackbird is at Mach 3, how hot is the airframe?
A: At speeds of Mach 3 (3 times the speed of sound) the SR- 71 Blackbird's airframe temperature can range from 315-480 degrees Celcius (600-900 degrees Farenheit), depending on its altitude

As for the 12,600 mph (about Mach 20) claim in the YT video Dudefish mentioned, DARPA didn't choose to share the data from their Mach 20 drone test:

Nice try, but it's a UFO, which exist in the spiritual realm but can manifest itself in the physical (like ghosts). I say this without any proof..

It's teleporting the air from in front to behind it. The craft itself has no propulsion, it's just being pulled along by the vacuum.

That's why there's no sound!

Like those high speed torpedoes with bubble generators so that there's less friction with the water, this craft is moving through a vacuum!
