Again, I remind you, Trump is the head of the Executive. He can order Sessions to take an action, so long as that action is lawful.  Investigating wildly-obvious criminal activity certainly is lawful.

A Chinese state-owned company reportedly hacked former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s email server, then inserted code that forwarded them a copy of virtually every email she sent or received after that -- a revelation President Trump is demanding be investigated.

The Daily Caller reported that the firm operating in the D.C. area wrote code that was then embedded in the server and generated a “courtesy copy” for almost all her emails -- which was then forwarded to the Chinese company.

The code reportedly was discovered in 2015 by the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG), which then warned FBI officials of the intrusion.

Which then did exactly nothing with same.

Remember, this same FBI "cleared" Clinton of any criminal wrongdoing, even though the mere maintenance of such a server through which classified data passed is a federal felony.

Now we know that the server was compromised, it wasn't Russia but rather China that did it, and the FBI knew it -- in 2015, yet they did nothing about it.

This is raw, blatant, intentional lawlessness by the FBI and myriad others in the Obama administration.  Where are the indictments?

No indictments?  Why do you honor the law and anything the government says you must do?

They don't -- why should you?

Where did "lock her up" go?  The same place the promise to break the medical monopolies did.

Trump had no intention to do any of the above.

He simply wants the same powers to use himself to abuse you with and you're letting him get away with it.

Do you like it better if you're raped by a white man than a black man?

Yep. He either prosecutes or he's fired. I'm talking Sessions and Trump.

I don't give a **** if it's a headline. We know that 90% of the media is in the tank for the establishment. Hell they are the establishment. They are just serving their masters like the politicians.

What we don't know is if Trump is the establishment. And day after day his inaction makes it look like either he is or he is controlled by them. He can prosecute this and other issues or he can go the **** back to his gold plated tower. And he can take AG Granny Moses with him.

Of course it's not a headline. News is reserved for important things.

Isn't that clear enough already?

Not so sure that he isn't trying to avoid that by not pushing forward. But it looks to me as if the best defense may be a good offense. I hear all this 3D chess bull**** - oh he's laying in wait.

Well if that's the case and it works he's a ****ing genius. But I know if it was me at this point I'd appoint Rudy as the 2nd SC and go to ****ing war.

True and intentionally misleading.

They didn't look, so they didn't find it. The IG found it, therefore they didn't have to.

Notice that such a statement is factual -- and intentionally misleading at the same time.

^^^^^^^^^^ This is the money shot on their statement, imo. I think these are worse than those who just out and out lie to you. These are so deceitful that you must question their every motive when dealing with them.

These individuals need to be removed from their positions, stripped of ALL clearances and be brought up on charges of TREASON(along with HRC). Make the consequences so harsh that others who might be tempted will take notice. Political affiliation should have no bearing on consequences.

"he can go the **** back to his gold plated tower".

That ain't happening. This is a political fight to the death, and the Trumpster knows it. I've said this from the very beginning when I watched as Trump pissed on Ronald Reagan's commandment, "thou shalt not speaketh ill of a fellow Republican". Trump took one look at that sign, pissed on it, picked it up with both hands and beat Jeb Bush down to an inch of his political life. Jeb is still a broken man, and he'll never be the same.

Fast forward to now:

"Thus we are in for a hellish year." Writes Pat Buchanan, "Trump is not going to resign. To do so would open him up to grand jury subpoenas, federal charges and civil suits for the rest of his life. To resign would be to give up his sword and shield, and all of his immunity. He would be crazy to leave himself naked to his enemies.

No, given his belief that he is under attack by people who hate him and believe he is an illegitimate president, and seek to bring him down, he will use all the powers of the presidency in his fight for survival. And as he has shown, these powers are considerable: the power to rally his emotional following, to challenge courts, to fire Justice officials and FBI executives, to pull security clearances, to pardon the convicted."

I agree with Pat. Furthermore, I see what Trump is doing.

Right now Trump is playing the victim.

"Victim! Trump a victim?!?" I can hear the indignant screams, now, by the Trump haters.

Yeah, that's right. Trump is a vitim in the eyes of all of his Fly Over supporters (including the MAGA crowds in Evansville, Indiana, who will be there, tonight, for a big crowd rally with Mike Braun).

Time and space doesn't permit a full rundown of Trump's game plan, but the bottom line is right now Trump is gaining strength through sympathy. In the eyes of his supporters (tens of millions of people, by the way) Trump is a victim of fake news, RINOs, Dirty Dems and, yes, even his own Just Us Department.

Trump has no sympathy from the people who comment in this forum --- and zero support. The people who comment here are smart enough to understand enough about Trump to know he can't be trusted. But unlike the vast crowd of Trump supporters the people who are in this forum are small in number, very small, like the Alamo..... Remember the Alamo?

"A hellish year", indeed.

Click I hope you're right. You're in the 3D Chess Club crowd. That he's just giving them enough rope to hang themselves.

Let's just say I doubt it. I think it's more likely right now he's trying to keep his kids out of the ****.

Yep. And what matters here is that he can ONLY protect them (1) as long as he's in office and (2) the issues remain FEDERAL.

So at this point I think he must convene all of his chess masters and decide he has to go the 3D chess route. If I were him I'd address the country. I'd put out word that he might be resigning from office. And I'd give a 6 hour rally on national television laying out the case. I'd name names. I'd name crimes. I'd declassify every ****ing thing. And I'd announce that Jeff Sessions has decided to commission a 2nd Special Counsel and that it's going to be Rudy Guiliani and that we would be getting to the bottom of the whole mess. At the same time I would announce that at age 74 I would probably be getting to a point that I shouldn't be the President any longer. And that the process of vetting a successor that he could support had begun. That currently Mike Pence was at the top of that list. And I'd watch DC just blow up. The place would be nuclear.

I'm not in the Q Club, e.g., "trust the plan".

I prefer the Alamo.

And I'm not on Trump's side. I just see what I see (3D?). Yeah there's a little of that, too. This **** is complex, but some of it is simple, too.

And what I see is only an opinion. And in my opinion the outcome is undetermined as of yet. Trump's enemies just might hang him high and send him (and his family) to Hell --- or not.

It would be nice if they all sent each other to Hell.

If Trump feels that he and his children are vulnerable when he leaves office, then he might not leave the office voluntarily at the end of his first or second term.

So? It'll be a battle between secret service agents for one principal vs another. Unless he wants to hold a duel in the Rose Garden, peaceful transition will happen.

There will be a peaceful transition or he will lose his base of support. There would be the fringe idiots that support him but his base believes in the Constitution.

Maybe he can hole up in New Jersey and make himself King of Bedminster and declare it a sovereign country. smiley

I believe we are witnessing the political fight of our nation under the US Constitution. Just look at the McCain funeral those NOT in the political establishment in the country we NOT invited. McCain did NOT invite or allow the sitting US President to attend his funeral This is a big clue to McCain being part of the government establishment and not for the Constitutional Republic. He did invite Obama to give a eulogy at his funeral along with GWB. Both are part of the government establishment.

Before Obama left office he moved a number of his political appointees into open or new civil service jobs in the US Gov't bureaucracy. So these Obama loyalists are now part of the Trump administration that Trump can't fire easily. Trump is trying to change/simplify the civil service rules on the firing of US Gov't employees. This has to be done through Congress. Look those in Congress are attending and making themselves known at McCain's funeral and praising him like they did Ted "Chappaquiddick" Kennedy.

People like Bruce Ohr are all throughout the gov't bureaucracy. Try to find out what his official title is? It just says DOJ official or longtime gov't lawyer. Can't tell if he is a political appointee or is a civil service employee. These folks are the leakers and establishment allies in the gov't that prevent the house cleaning or swamp draining that is needed. Once in civil service even with cause, it is near impossible to fire them. His job is the likely reason his wife got a very high paying job in Fusion GPS. His connections and knowledge got her position and a lot of money. He benefits with bribes that are given to his wife through her employment. These people have high powered friends like the late John McCain and Teddy Kennedy, as well as Chuckie Schumer and Nancy Pelosi that run cover for them. Republicans like Jeff Flake, Mitch McConnell, Thad Cochran and Orrin Hatch will do the same. When we keep re-electing these fraud congressmen and women we keep the gov't bureaucracy alive and well. McConnell's wife (Elaine Chao) has been a Cabinet Secretary in the last three Republican Administrations. You don't think ole Mitch didn't have anything to do with that?

Why can't Trump just fire these people? Either they are protected by civil service laws or by strong political figures in Congress. Behind the scenes and sometime right out in plain view Trump is being told he can't fire Jeff Sessions because he has political allies in Congress that are going to protect him and give Trump much difficulty in naming his successor.

The other night I was flipping through the cable channels and on a NY station the four Democratic candidates for the State Attorney General were debating. Most of these candidates were saying when they get in they are going to start investigations into Trump, his family, and business at the state level because Trump can't pardon at the state level. The Clintons are also NY residents, but nothing from these four about investigating the Clinton "charitable" foundation and other open crimes they are committing. The State of NY with the current and new DEM leaders essentially a banana republic and if you are a republican/conservative/libertarian/ you better not run for political office or we will investigate you to death. The State of CA and other DEM run states are right there with them. The MD Attorney General is wasting MD taxpayer's money on suing the Trump Administration for its illegal immigration policies.

Trump's election has blown open the organized criminal empire of the US Government Bureaucracy. They are trying to make Trump the sacrificial lamb to show the rest of US who question them or their power and how they use it, what will happen to US. So far the press is in the corner of corruption and allows them to operate. Our founders have to be turning over in their grave at how corrupt our press has become. We the people are going to have to wake up and stop supporting the corruptocrats and corrupt press.

I went to the TEA Party March in 2009 in DC. That woke up a few people that we need to do something. Not enough have woken up yet and it remains to be seen if they do. The US Gov't spreads billions of bribe money (welfare, food stamps, housing, and gov't contracts and grant money) to the public to buy the votes for corrupt politicians. I am wondering where and what pockets that 500 million in Solyndra money actually went. The people who desire the constitutional freedoms we have are not loud enough to scare the establishment corrupt politicians in a number of areas.

They are pushing for the end of the Electoral College for this reason. One of the last constitutional hurdles they need to defeat. The use of the popular vote makes the Presidential election a popularity contest. No more campaigning in Iowa or other small states. The start of much of this chance were the addition of the 16th & 17th Amendments. Senators are now in a popularity contest and not the representatives for their states.

The 1st, 2nd, 4th and 10th Amendments are if not dead, on life support. The press is corrupted, the average citizen who supports the 2nd amendment is a psycho, the IRS scandal and search and seizure of private property, and US gov't money to the states having strings the states must succumb to receive the money are examples of the Fed Bureaucracy taking control.

The survival of the Trump Presidency will be up to Trump keeping his support base behind him and attracting a number of people who didn't initially support him because of the bad media and missteps he made during the campaign. Trump getting the average citizen better economic conditions will keep the press from being able to bury him in a made up scandal. Trump needs to have some of his political enemies investigated and convicted of crimes to break up the establishment corruption. He has one hell of a battle ahead of him.

Is Trump perfect? Absolutely not, but I think he wants the average US citizen to succeed and not the gov't to control them. Can you imagine any of US knowing about any of this corruption if Hiliary was elected?
