It's really quite-simple folks.

Yes, it's 20 minutes.  Watch it.  Distribute it.  Then enforce it.

If companies want to back those who advocate for and declare they will commit millions of murders they need to be put out of business -- lawfully, through irrevocable boycotts.  Those who support or work for any organization or firm that lend support to those advocating for millions of murders need to become unemployed -- and permanently unemployable.  No exceptions, no ifs, no ands and no buts.

There are those who say that there's a "cold civil war" going on right now culturally.  Well, maybe.  But the people on the left are not arguing for a "cold" civil war -- they are advocating, supporting and declaring intent to commit mass-murder, in America, on the scale of Rwanda -- or even Nazi Germany.

If someone tells you repeatedly and to your face that they intend to murder you what is your response? Do you actually associate with and buy products from those who state they are willing and intend to commit millions of murders to achieve a political goal?

That's what all those who support banning or registering any sort of firearm in America are actually stating.  It is a fact that some percentage of Americans believe the words of the 2nd Amendment mean what they say: shall not be infringed.  We can have whatever debate you wish on what percentage of Americans believe this but I am absolutely certain of one thing: It's not zero.  If that figure is even 0.1% of the American population then a demand to ban any gun is a declaration of intent to murder 300,000 Americans to get what you want.  If it's 1% then that number is 3.3 million murders.  And if it's 3%? Then there are 10 million people who everyone that supports such a ban is stating they intend to murder simply because those individuals believe that the Constitution is not a dead letter and means exactly what it says.

Not a single one of the people arguing for "gun bans" or "gun registration" wants to actually reduce gun violence.  It is an outrageous fraud to claim you're "against gun violence" when the actual position you are taking is that you're willing to murder millions of Americans to obtain a political goal.

That this declaration has not resulting in an immediate shooting war -- a civil war on our own soil -- is simply because with the exception of the criminally insane a simple declaration of intent to murder millions doesn't contain enough credibility for people to take it seriously.

It is a grave error to believe that this will continue beyond the point that the first people are actually murdered in furtherance of that declaration of intent.  It is a further grave error, and one that can easily lead to an actual civil war with millions of Americans lying dead on both sides of the debate, for you to fail to point this fact out every time you hear such a phrase as "common sense" gun restrictions and take corrective action to demand that those who have and do adopt such positions declare their true intent in public -- that is, to force them to publicly admit their intention to murder all who disagree while accepting the social, economic and political consequences of doing so.

I think you missed the real takeaway regarding the safe Act: an approximate 96% NON-COMPLIANCE rate. Ask them how that number works into their calculations on the national level.

No I didn't.

4% compliance is what I pointed out. That means damn near NOBODY has complied..... and the cops aren't dumb, which is why they haven't started raiding houses.

They know damn well what may happen if they do.

Great video Karl. Really puts the issue into perspective.

I also read this morning that the illustrious Muslim mayor of London wants to institute "knife control" measures. It will never stop.

I find it rather alarming that they are going from "We just want you to be safe" to "We will come take them from your cold dead hands!"

Even in New York, few cops really want to go door to door. Makes me wonder what resources would be used to do that.

The thing no hoplophobe will admit to is that those murders you are talking about will NOT be one sided.

Once word gets out that confiscation raids are going down (and word WILL get out), some even smaller number of gun owners WILL enact plans they have made before hand to take 100 heads:

https://sipseystreetirregulars.blogspot.com/2009/01/one-hundred-heads.html

The correct question to ask is, "How many city, county, and state level politicians, newspaper reporters, and mid level government bureaucrats are you willing to see killed?"

There are FAR fewer of those than there are police, and the police can't protect them all.

It is this sort of logic that is staying the hand of New York and Connecticut (who also passed an AWB, and who is also having massive non-compliance.) New York also has the problem of upstate Sheriffs refusing to enforce the SAFE act:

Excellent work on the video. I will share widely.

I know our side commonly throws out 1% to 3% as the percent that will not comply. Of course, we use those numbers because they quickly and conservatively convey the point - many murders would be required to enact a true gun ban.

I wonder what that percentage would really be. I suspect that the numbers would start at 1%, 2% or 3% and then rapidly grow as less firm hands gained confidence in the power of the resistance stance.

Again, strong work on the video. Thanks!

I call it commie sense gun control.

Another deeper layer to add: What happens to the children of the 1%-3% that get murdered in the name of gun control? We have plenty of evidence to know that youre going to create radicalized violent group of young people (my rough estimate from half a million all the way up to 18 million) that will kill you and your family at any cost to get revenge. The Muslims refer to it as a Jihad.

@Redjack -- the cops may be, in many cases, crazy but they are not stupid.

They understand that the bluster of taking a legal weapon and declaring possession of it a criminal act is one thing, but the first time someone says "NO!" the cops have to either admit the "law" is no such thing OR SHOOT.

They know this as it's true for EVERY law they enforce. When you get pulled over for speeding if you refuse to stop the escalation will end up with them shooting -- same deal. It's only because you say "YES" that it doesn't go there.

Well, there's a problem with that -- once you shoot the FIRST person then all the others who ALSO will say "NO" have a decision to make. They either change their minds to "YES" or they are all dead men walking.

Consider a hunter going out in the morning to hunt lion -- or bear. The lion or bear has teeth and claws, plenty lethal, but only at very close range. The hunter can shoot said animal at 100+ yds easily, long before it can close the distance and use its weapons.

Lions are cats, and cats are pretty smart. Bears are, well, bears -- but they're also quite smart. They learn how to open boxes, if they can, to get at food and they will climb trees to get at a hung food bag too -- but they are also smart enough not to step on a branch that can't support their weight. Indeed a mama bear will send her cub out on a branch to get your food bag! If you've ever been out in the woods you know that these animals are NOT STUPID. But they're not smart enough. They are unable to produce out-of-scope thought.

What if that wasn't true?

What if a lion or bear, coming upon a tent at 2:30 in the morning and hearing a snoring human inside was able to think out-of-scope? In other words said animal was able to use his superior sense of smell and detect the probability that inside the tent was not just a stinky, sleeping human (which he really doesn't want to eat since humans are carnivores; he'd rather eat a gazelle as they're herbivores and herbivores taste better) but a stinky, sleeping human WITH A RIFLE intending to hunt and KILL said animal AS SOON AS HE WAKES UP.

What do you think the Lion or Bear would do if it could make the mental connection between a sleeping human and, a few hours later, being shot by said currently-sleeping AND DEFENSELESS human?

I can and do go hike in the mountains all over the place and sleep in a tent without having to post a continual watch with the "watcher-stander" armed with night-vision AND a rifle because the bears, who DO know I'm out there -- they can smell me from a mile or more away, are incapable of perceiving that SOME humans will shoot and kill them. If they were able to actually THINK they wouldn't just try to steal my food -- they'd eat ME in the middle of the night instead.

Well?

This is why despite NY State cops knowing damn well who has "prohibited" guns - hell, many owners ANNOUNCED it at town hall meetings during the time, some of which were recorded in the media, and being able to trivially discover not only the ones they know about BUT A COMPLETE LIST through a simple raid on the gun stores and perusing the 4473s should they choose to they haven't done ANY such thing.

They know that the VERY FIRST such raid of an otherwise-peaceful individual turns the bluster of Bloomberg and Cuomo into not only a statement of intent but an act in furtherance of mass-murder and irrefutable proof that they will commit as many of those murders as they can.

Down that road lies madness, they know it, and they also know that once you go down that road you may not be able to come back from it either.

This is how those who believe in the 2nd Amendment win -- we make the gun banners explicitly acknowledge that their position is one of advocacy and willingness to murder millions to achieve a political goal, we shove it down their throats relentlessly and we demand that any organization or person with political or commercial ties to same also "own" the TRUTH of the position they are backing.

Tickerguy,

I am a hunter and hiker also. Most of the places I go it isn't bears, but cougars I worry about. Cougars are more cunning, and while they don't stalk humans often they are very capable of doing so.

I work as an engineer with all sorts of people. Most of the line guys are conservative (or redneck), but many of the managers are not. One cornered me and asked what I would do if they sent cops to my house to grab my rifles.

When I said "The cops had better wonder what the line guys will do once they see Jack's body".

Cops I know have stated that they will follow the order. These are family that I grew up with, and have known all my life. However, in private, more than one said they would turn in their badge and start running if it got to that.

The grabbers have to know that it won't go well. As an engineer, I keep getting back to logistics. Either someone is a very silly bugger, or there is a plan with resource applied to it.

However, my blind spot may be that I am assuming that they are not just silly buggers.

@redjcak

I always keep in mind that the Weather Underground had serious meetings in the 1070s where they discussed the logistics behind killing 25 million Americans. Persons with educations from elite institutions were dead serious.

There is a significant portion of the left that take the warnings of the from-my-cold-dead-hands type seriously, and view them as a challenge.

The key thing to do with them is make it absolutely, crystal clear that should this scenario come to pass that they, personally, have skin in this game because they will be the first person you go looking for when that scenario starts.

Make it absolutely crystal clear that their own hide is on the line if they get what they want.

Unknownsailor, I'm confused by this statement:

>>The correct question to ask is, "How many city, county, and state level politicians, newspaper reporters, and mid level government bureaucrats are you willing to see killed?"

There are FAR fewer of those than there are police, and the police can't protect them all.>>

Are you saying that there are far fewer governmental employees and media types than law enforcement types? Because I can assure you in my location, the reverse is the case.

As a matter of fact, LEO's are less than 2% of our city/county population.

Spot on, Karl. Thanks for putting that out there. I've seen videos from Tucker Carlson show on youtube from recently where he has had low to mid level flunkies of various Marxist outfits and tried a similar line of questioning with them. Whoever is handing out the talking points has coached them well enough to squirm, distract and do everything they can to avoid answering those questions, to the point where he just pulled the plug on them. The true believer cultural Marxists know exactly what they are calling for and are very okay with it. But they know they can't say it on tee-vee.

I think the bad people were too encouraged in the wake of the whole Boston Bomber thing where the *******s (who the FBI were also warned about) set off bombs at the marathon. It wasn't so much that the cops in Boston were rolling down residential streets in the little tanks, leveling weaponry at random people that disappointed me. It wasn't even really so much the cops going house to house, marching people from their homes at gunpoint so they could go in and search the houses. No, what was so disheartening to me was that there was not even one old man willing to stand behind a locked storm door and tell them "If you don't have a warrant, get the **** off of my lawn!" Not one. And they had the nerve to put out "Boston Strong" t-shirts after that disgrace.

Folks, you need to read Matt Bracken's novels and his short stories to understand very well how Karl's scenario will play out. Especially you folks on the left that are lurking on this board. He wrote it for you more than anyone!

Gun grabbers need to consider how the target list gets constructed if they kick this thing off. It won't include just gun-grabbing politicians, executives, and media personalities, but the folks hired to protect them, and their families. If you aid and abet traitors, you are a traitor yourself. If a security person's or LEO's family can't leave their house because of snipers or IEDs, how many are going to keep showing up to work to protect the VIPs? Screw that.

Or, as Bracken says, it will be Rwanda x Bosnia. God forbid it happen here. Someone appears intent to make it so.

People seem to have trouble with the basic construct here:

Once you declare intent to murder someone and the target believes you MEAN IT there is no longer any reason for them to "play nice." In fact they're literally crazy if they continue to "play nice" under such a circumstance.

The REALLY bad news is that once you start this **** it's virtually impossible to convince anyone you no longer mean it. After all if you intend to murder someone your best shot at it managing to pull it off requires catching the victim by surprise! So, if you do "tip over the table" in this regard and then regret it exactly how do you propose to "walk that back"?

I know how they will enforce bans. They are going to Tax and Fine you to death. They will take your house and any assets you have if you don't comply. It's going to be done in Deerfield, IL. I sent an article on it to you Ticker Guy.

The powers know their 9 year Ponzi is coming to an end and are in a panic about how many Americans are armed to the teeth. Any politician that pushes confiscation better get some good security and a level 4 vest. Are these people just plain stupid? I can see the gun owners take out their frustrations on the crooked politicians that are stealing their Constitutional rights.
Their entire argument holds no water. Karl did a good job explaining in common sense the end result of such arcane laws. Think about how many cops will die trying to confiscate these weapons because politicians want complete power. I know several cops and they would immediately retire rather then obey such unconstitutional orders. They think that the government would allow the UN to come in and do the dirty work. That would set off a chain reaction to our next civil war. The people in power are so arrogant that they think they can rule by fiat just like kings and queens.

With regard to a targeted population, whether fingered via open declaration or facing but a hypothetical threat of same, can there exist ANY better form of insurance against that population's falling victim to state-sponsored genocide other than widely dispersed and diffuse ownership of weapons (or even access to weaponry) within that population? Is it necessary to add that this form of insurance has a proven--spectacular even--track record of effectiveness, e.g. of paying off on claims, even in advance of actual filings therefor? How many examples does history provide us in which weapons in the hands of ideologically-stigmatized outcasts has failed to prevent an intentional mass liquidation? Whats wrong with bringing this curiosity to the attention of leftist emotionaloids (and in precisely these terms)?
