Jesus, it's that obvious and CNN ran this crap?

People need to go to ****ing prison for this.  NOW.

Yes, including Gloria Allred.  The yearbook is an obvious forgery and she peddled it on national television; that needs to be good for disbarment and prosecution.

The original tweet from CNN can still be looked at.  We'll see how long it is before they try to take it down.  (Update: It appears one of Getty's photographers shot the original photo; it's been linked in the comments, and I checked it.  It's pretty-clearly the image CNN used and it was also clearly shot in color as it includes portions of the people holding it in the picture....)

I took the image on the right side of their tweet, brought it into Photoshop and increased the size.

I will swear under oath that I did nothing to tamper with the color or tone and in fact did nothing other than increasing its zoom level to 400% because it would be impossible to tamper with the image at said greatly enhanced zoom level without causing visible artifacts in the background and periphery of the letters.  There is also a gradient in the paper caused by a B&W photo being in part of the area where the signature is, which again will cause visible artifacts if I were to try to tamper with it.  In other words I did this to add irrefutable proof that I did not in any way tamper with the image itself.  I also saved the extract from the tweet as a "PNG" which is lossless from my desktop to yours; no compression so there are no artifacts added in my process either; whatever CNN put forward, that's what I (and you) have.

Those are clearly different inks for everything after the first name.

Was the original signature Roy or was it Ray?

Whatever it was, someone added "Moore DA", the date and "Olde Hickory House" in a different ink color.

By the way, the claimant says that Moore knew she had a boyfriend "and offered to give her a ride home" when he assaulted her.  Was the boyfriend's name RAY?

This must be criminally investigated right ****ing now as attempted federal election tampering.  Jeff Sessions, you claim to be "for the rule of law", let's see a search warrant for that yearbook to perform forensic testing of the ink, and if the latter part of the "signature" is not 40 years old indictments must issue right now for everyone involved in this crap or you are a lying, sniveling sack of ****.

The proper response to all this is to come back and say that this is not worth discussing, unless the accusers make the statements UNDER OATH. That way, the goal posts can't move, if the narrative starts to collapse.

Additionally, if Gloria All-red puts her client up and knowingly facilitates her making a false statement under oath, she is disbarred and subject to felony prosecution.

If it isn't under oath, it's just political hackery.

You know that Jones, Willey, Lewinsky, Flowers, etc would (or did) make their accusations under oath.

I just heard on Limbaugh that this diner, where Moore allegedly raped her in "the back parking lot," doesn't have a parking lot, nor did it in 1977.

Oops...

It dawned on me that the Democrats have been playing these games on a different scale than the rest of us. Everything they do is manipulated to work into their hands and or favor. This is crunch time for the SOB's and they know it. No time like the present to push as hard as they can and see what they get away with. And at this point, it looks like they are getting away with a lot.

Disgusting to think this is the new political realm we live in...I wonder when the tipping point will occur, when reasonable people say "enough".

Maybe so, but CNN ran a COLOR photo in their tweet.

Oops.

BTW the original yearbook was in fact B&W. But nobody shoots in B&W for press purposes anymore.

Why not? It WAS justified years ago in the world of film if the final product would be B&W. The reason was simple: B&W film has somewhat more dynamic range, so you can recover a mis-exposure shot and use it, never mind that you can't "chimp" film and re-shoot if the exposure is off. Plus B&W film is a (lot) cheaper and the processing was ALSO a LOT cheaper and faster AND you can do the printing/processing with a safelight on in open trays, so you can actually SEE what you're doing (unlike color paper which must be handled in total darkness.) When doing news, well, yeah all that matters -- a lot.

Today? All your digital cameras have color sensors in them and there are no enlargers and such so..... yeah.

Lets presume this is going to be the new normal with Liberals...Whats next?

Does everything they do require a review, a second or third look? Do we treat them like the MSM...all fake, all the time?

"It dawned on me that the Democrats have been playing these games on a different scale than the rest of us."

IMHO, this is far too incompetent for the Democrats. They may be evil, but they're cunning, too.

This has to be Republicans. Democrats would have waited until a few days before the election, when there would have been little time to respond, whereas the Republicans need Moore to quit in time to get a replacement in his spot.

I was on the yearbook in my late-90s high school days, and we used black-and-white. We also did our cropping and layouts manually. Here is the example I saw: http://americablog.com/2017/11/yearbook-....

Note the desaturation.

I shot yearbook (mostly sports) photog in the 70s. Yes, same time. We shot all B&W, I bought all the film in bulk rolls and loaded 35mm cartridges by hand (yes, we were cheap and that's cheaper!), ran the film myself in the darkroom as well as cropping and printing as required (including montages and such) at which point the rest of the committee "assembled" the work that I handed to them.

I was one of the few kids at the time with a camera up to the job and I had my own darkroom so using the school one was real nice (they had a lot better gear than I did; mine was in a converted basement bathroom!)

But CNN shot a COLOR photo of it, and by doing so they busted themselves as those are clearly two different-color inks. That's the end of it right there.

Yeah, I'd like to see forensics on the inks (age, specifically) but realistically at this point that's the accuser grasping at straws. My bet is that she'll never let that yearbook anywhere near someone with forensic tools as she knows good and ******n well the signature is tampered with.

As a side bet I'll wager her boyfriend at the time was named "Ray".

According to this tweet, the Assistant District Attorney in Calhoun County was E. Ray Action who went by "Ray." It's approximately the 5th tweet down.

At the presser just held, his attorney also mentioned the difference between the "77" in the upper portion of the entry, and the "77" under the signature.

They're different.

Yes, they are.

But you can explain away those differences.

You can't explain away the difference in the inks. There's no evidence the original pen ran out of ink either (they skip and leave impressions but not ink when they do that.)

The signature was tampered with.

30 minutes of forensics will prove it beyond any question since the blue part won't have 40 years of oxidation damage.

Someone needs to find the 1977 Southside Gadsden AL yearbook. I checked on ancestry.com account, but they don't have it.

I wonder if there is a Ray in her class. Someone needs to track down that man.

I bet he turns up in a Moore press conference saying 'that was me'.

Alabama is trolling to nation.

Wow. I had only seen what appeared to be B/W photos up to now. I saw some facebook posts about "different ink" but chalked it up to everyday tinfoil and never looked closer until now.

https://mobile.twitter.com/i/nojs_router....

"Moore D.A. 12-22-77 Olde Hickory House" were all obviously added later. Quite possibly after the woman saw "DA" after Moore's signature on her own divorce decree, not understanding that that was apparently Moore's secretary's initials that she used to indicate that she had applied the judge's signature by using the rubber stamp.

I am still quite open to the possibility that everything through "Roy" is actually authentic Roy Moore's handwriting. But by adding the stuff in blue ink, she blew her credibility to hell and back and almost certainly handed the election back to Moore.

I've looked at some of the MSM images. They are almost all, if not all, desaturated (I hope that's a word, it keeps getting underlined). The bigger story here is not the fabrication itself; it is the intentional fraud committed by most of the media.

It's plainly visible to anyone who can see colors.

I ran it by my MSNBC-watching parents: "How do you know this was not photoshopped, and the others were not".

**** it. They want to see what they want to see.

I just looked at this picture on my editing rig, and I can confirm that the color was adjusted in the region of the colored ink. Thus, whomever sent out this picture intentionally doctored the photo because they knew the colors were different, and would raise eyebrows.

I would also like to point out that the media always uses color grading to portray the emotion they want, it's mainly used to subconsciously deceive.

Getty is the source and shot it in color, including parts of the people holding it. As noted the source has been found.

CNNs mistake was using the original.
