Wow, I think I remember someone saying that the insurance companies are getting monkey-hammered by zero interest rates. Hum, I wonder where I might have read that before.... Gen, any ideas?

Well the manager of the home watch service in Naples I hired to go in and make sure my unit was ready for the hurricane just called me, she told me there were no issues with my unit, zero water got inside. As soon as the electricity comes back on they'll go back in and make sure the AC is turned back on. I bet the people they sent out must have loved climbing 12 floors of steps to check out my unit.

All in all I'm pretty happy that I don't have to drive down and deal with hurricane damage and an insurance company.

Glad it is over. Been waiting for a clear week to replace our roof and was praying we would take a direct hit. One bonus from the storm is we now have I think ten pallets of bottled water in the house and my wife is no longer freaking out. I 10 eastbound is sure a cluster though.
