For property records: http://webgis.okaloosafl.com/webgis/

It took me about 30 seconds to come up with your property record.

Yep. It's not difficult at all, and they ARE public. It's entirely possible he grabbed it on his personal cellphone (and not a county-owned device; we were in a CITY owned building so he wasn't using a county-owned WiFi network in any event.)

Like I said I don't believe there's a LEGAL issue with what he did -- it's just ****-headed and a blatant attempt to intimidate.

Goforbroke - Thank you for posting that link, I watched much of the video and I believe Karl was kind, courteous and respectful, I can not see a reason why Poopstain would speak of what property someone owned under those circumstances.

Business reasons.....Yea so and so owns parcels X,Y and Z and wants to build a new water park....blah...blah. Sure, but the number of kids, the type of car or food someone eats or property they own should not be factored into a public meeting like this.

What I did find interesting is putting in Nathan (poopstain) Boyles into the county gis comes back with "No Records Found. Please check your search terms and try again." So it is either under a Crystal (His wife) an LLC or the like or he owns no property yet is in favor of raising everyone else property taxes and is making an issue out of those who do hold property.

Piece of **** is what he is. If I let this fester much longer, I might just send poopstain a letter letting him know what the world thinks of him. NOT MUCH!!!

Truly thugish behavior by government officials aka welfare kings. The lack of competence of these people is as astounding as the amount of power they wield. They dont give a damn about the people.

It seems that Mr. Boyle is jealous of your waterfront property and thus he believes youre obligated to pay for his vacations and salary. The thing is that he is the EMPLOYEE not the BOSS and eventually that behavior will catch up with THEM, as well as US.

He has a number of LLCs registered, some of which he appears to be a registered agent for (doing it for others as a lawyer, which is normal.) Head thee over to sunbiz and you can look them up -- that's how I verified that he really does own the land title place.

How did I know he was going to be a millennial like me. only problem is he didn't learn to do math getting those fancy degrees.

At least one other LLC checks out as he has family photos on the About Us page. I just wonder how much he is leveraged running all these LLCs.

Several of them do not appear to be his; he's the registered agent for them, which is not unusual. You can pay a lawyer a few hundred bucks a year to do that for you, make sure the paperwork gets filed on time, etc. "MGRM" is the designation for the "Managing Member" for a single-owner LLC in this state; that's the person who owns and controls it.

Local government seems to attract the greediest of the greedy. There were a number of municipalities, including Chicago, that pulled a little insidious trick at street intersections. Basically, they installed ticketing traffic cameras at intersections, and simultaneously reduced the yellow light time by a half second...

http://time.com/3505994/red-light-camera....

Even worse in Chicago, there was an additional layer of bribery involved between the city traffic officials and the traffic camera vendor!

In Ohio, until this past July a police officer had to have been present to ticket you. They fought this in Columbus, and won.

In July, the Ohio Supreme Court claimed that it was "unconstitutional," so now red light cameras are back in play.

I listened to that kid talk in the video for about 2 minutes. He's a dip****. I guess his "fake it until you make it" mantra is somewhat working for him though. That strategy usually hits a wall at some point though, as you eventually have to impress people far smarter than you. I'd say he's currently maxed out.

Yeah, I would have rammed him on that slide of his too (it was obvious bull****) but I didn't have the data to back it up and really to do it right I would have needed slides of my own, which I couldn't have presented. Besides, that load of **** was the lesser of evils at that point by a wide margin.

And if you do come with a slide presentation, the IT department wants a copy beforehand so they can "check for viruses." Bull****. They want to send it to the council members so they can have their arguments ready, if not deny presentation.

Exactly. Of course my answer to that is to come with the laptop and all manner of adapters in-hand, but that of course cannot be allowed.

I tried. No Go. I would somehow mess up their system.

Corruption at the national, state and local levels, people getting away with crimes because of who they are, rule of law in the ****ter... Why the hell should I follow any laws if the "connected" people don't have to?

Well, yes -- what he did was legal in reading my property records into the public meeting's open record.

But it was both sleazy as hell and designed to intimidate. It was also a mistake, because by doing so he not only failed to intimidate me he guaranteed that I'd do more than 30 seconds of investigation into exactly why he felt threatened enough to do that.

What a total sleazebag. Also implying that you were a contemptible "fat cat" revealed how much he really new. The whole attempted intimidation is nothing more but a deflection technique designed to hide the real crime occurring here. The fact that meeting is held at 5:01 pm is enough to tell that they desire no serf input in their fantasy fiefdom.

Give 'em hell Karl. Hope this makes it to the news and local and state papers. Pitchforks and torches need to be instantly implemented. I'd also make sure I'd write down the home addresses of all the commissioners and their home phone numbers to read out the next time they wished to pull this stunt in a meeting.

Let's see what happens to "public servants" that have no intent of serving "the public" and who really squirms first -lol.

A couple months back, I got a ticket in the mail for a red light camera infraction. It turns out my youngest son drove through a red light. He turned right while the through traffic was turning left. Meaning if he would have come to a complete stop he would have had a free right hand turn.

The ticket came in the mail and sure enuff there was my son sitting in the drivers seat, I went on line and sure enuff there was a video of my son not stopping on the right hand turn.

Sure enuff, I sent them a picture of my drivers license with a copy of the car registration in my name.

Sure enuff, I have video proof of me not driving the car at the time of the infraction.

If they want to know who was actually behind the wheel they can pay an officer to pull people over. The ticket was dismissed.

Karl,

You don't need my opinion in this, but here it is anyway. Give 'em hell.

So, the Rule of Law is really dead, isn't it?

I don't know what Merlin means with an undisclosed ten-letter word, and I hope I counted it right three times!

I'll use the word I suspect he intended, right here, because we've already seen at least one "counter-revolution", and it's far past time to counter the counter.

Guns are loaded in the car, so I can go and lay some lead downrange after Church tomorrow. I think I'll give a little workout to the .20-ga Mossberg pistol grip as well. (Barely street legal barrel length, you understand; there's just something about the sound of a slide!)

The next few days might just really suck in North Alabama; tomorrow doesn't look to be one of those days.

Yep, I'd rather be somewhat practiced and hopefully at least marginally more competent than worried and jittery about what might be coming over the wall, or whatever.

Fact is, whoever they are, they can only kill me once. If it comes to that, I'll take as many sideboys with me as I can manage. No regrets.
