That! put a smile on my face. Bugger the banksters indeed! Perfect for a bumper sticker. That is, assuming the 1st Amendment still stands.

"Bugger" is such a fine word. Shame it's not used more on this side of the pond.

Except for the hints at class warfare, I like it too!

Nice, but a little too sedate and polite. I was hoping for a little AC/DC and images of a neck tie party.

Nice tune until the "except Tony Benn" reference. In other words, just a bunch of Far Left poseurs who want to destroy the old system and replace it with their own brand of tyranny. If they had said "except Nigel Farage", I would have thought more of it. Bugger them, too.

My idea of non-partisanship is not that there are politicians who just have different ideas of what is best for the country. My non-partisanship is they are ALL crooks and liars.

Reason: forgot buggering.

They got the policiticans too. Been watching the Bill still videos someone put up the other day. I knew most of the stuff Still brings up, because I have read about it over the years, especially through Rothbard. The main difference between Still and the Austrians is gold versus paper. Still makes a good point that who has the gold makes the rule. Little is taught us in school that the US was set up by rich people so they could eventually own the country. Hamilton was made up as some kind of saint in a lot of circles. Still points out the only money put up for the banks of the US was by the government and the partners took out fractional reserve loans and put up their share for nothing. The leverage game to benefit a few has been going on a long time.

Darn it Karl, I have not been able to get the chorus of that song out of my head all day.

Bugger the Bankers and Politicians,

Thank you Timbo and Ruaslave. Rather disappointing that only two people noticed that.

Benn is more than a bit barking (he really drank the kool aid), but having lived in his neighbouring constituency, it has to be conceded that he was probably the finest constituency representative of his generation. He would move heaven and earth for his constituents.

It's why he got voted in time and again, even though the constituency was far from being a Labour stronghold (eta: Thatcher basically had to destroy the constituency to get rid of him - and he still almost won).
