Noodleman that is a good observation, this case clearly shows that the media are part and parcel of the rise of Tyranny.

The Media does not exist to report the truth they exists to spread the propaganda of the STATE.

@Susanjbear

I live down here and yes I'm outraged but people have been conditioned not to expect any of these trigger happy cops to even get fired for this, sure rat out a fellow cops and you're out on your butt but randomly shoot up a few Asian ladies? That's just fine. What the cops should really be concerned about is what the comments section reads like which is VERY anti-cop. We are becoming a third world nation where no one trusts the cops and in fact hates and fears them. Even if I saw the guy their looking for I most likely wouldn't report it as he's less of a danger to me than the cops are.

I say the cats out of the bag... This is showing the whole country how powerless the authorities are and how just a few citizens/patriots etc banded together can throw one whole big ass monkey wrench in the system. THIS is why they want your guns. Too late.

This situation could inspire others to go to war against the police. I pray it doesn't. But when cops can shoot up a car just because its the same color as the one they are looking and its ok. this could easily and quickly get really ugly. Again, look at the people that own guns, and what happens if the cops decide to take somebodys and they fight back. unofficial civil war will start. contrary to The Elite's perception, the average joe can only take so much and the straw can break the camel's back. I truly hope we do not end up there.

The worst part is not that the cops shot up two civilians, it is the media coddling of the cops, the language that they use to minimize what happened. The media should be taking a position of outrage, not brushing it off as collateral damage. The media solution? Don't drive a truck. Nothing placed on the officers to identify before firing at citizens.

Really you should look at MSM reporting on this. That should sicken you. The media will not take a stand against the government. We should be asking why. I understand the media has to rely on cops for news, but what I am seeing is the absence of a free press when they are doing damage control for the LAPD.

And now that his truck has been found in flames, what is the public supposed to drive in order to be safe from the cops? Even when the media advise to the citizens was "Don't drive a truck", do you have any idea how many trucks are in Southern California? Probably an easy million.

Now what is going to happen when the suspect is thought to be in an area and the cops go on house to house? Suppose that you are big and black and unknowingly open the door with cops on the other side? You are going to end up dead.

I have an ex employee who looks very similar to the pic of the suspect, Happens to be on my list of all time favorite employees. (which is damn hard to make) and right now with feared up cop mentality his life is danger.

I have not felt like this since Richard Ramirez, the night stalker was around except this time it is the trigger happy cops that will walk away with "I feared for my life", as they take yours.

Ok, I've avoided reading MOST of the details on this, but the arfcom thread on this blew to 60 pages in a few hours. I read clips of the manifesto, I've read how the press is cutting out anything damaging to the far libtard left and gun control ****ers. What strikes me about his manifesto is this: it's either bat**** insane moonbattery, OR.... It's brilliant ****ing satire. I can't tell which, because I don't know the man and his belief system well enough.

I honestly can't root for either side here. He *seems* to have killed an innocent, but I KNOW the LA cops do and are continuing to harass and now SHOOT innocents. **** that - they're JBT's of the highest order and worst caliber.

What I can say is this folks: take NOTES. Both of what and how he's doing it, AND what the JBT's response is. It's been VERY enlightening.

His first act, to me, evinces a solid understanding of Assymetrics. His missive didn't seem to me as if he was out of control of his senses - I'm not justifying his actions but from the perspective of one who wishes to engage in assymetrics, it makes sense: police can't physically do their jobs *and* stay home to protect their loved ones.
If you give aid and comfort to the enemy, then you make yourself a target. from the perspective of Assymetrics, letting the LAPD know that they didnt merely have to show up to work, they also had to be concerned for the safety of *everyone that supports them* ... well, that's how assymetrics works. Another way to phrase it is "Don't Feed the Pigs"... if you do (feed them, clothe them, do any business with them) then you make yourself known as a friend of theirs. That has consequences, for someone engaged in Assymetric war, as this fella seems to have begun.
George Washington was a master of this: when he crossed the Delaware at Trenton, the farms in the region were a known Tory stronghold. After dispatching the German mercenaries that Christmas morning at the Trenton treasury, he then proceeded to teach those "civilian noncombatants" a lesson on who they should be feeding. ... It wasn't pretty. He was *brutal* (rightly so).
I'm not supporting Chris's actions -- I'm noting that his first act (engaging the family of his enemy) gives evidence that he *understands* his situation.
This has my attention.

Agree West...the killing of the girl and her fiance was simply to make a point. He's very serious, and the families of the cops are no more safe than the cops themselves. One shot fired anywhere near the family of one of those cops, and every major PD in the entire state of California will be coming to the 'rescue'.

Yep, it's been apparent to me for some time... The MSM has chosen sides, and it won't be forgotten when we slide into a dirty civil war. Yes, I said "when".

I believe we've been past the tipping point for some time. There is no peaceful political solution to what ails this nation.. Where is the compromise between tyranny and freedom? Where is the middle ground? I think the statists are TOO invested, at this point, to reverse course willingly and the freemen among us are keenly aware of where this path is taking us. We're preparing for war. call it prepping, call it CYA, call it what you want... we're preparing for war.

As for me, my last political statement will be to vote with my feet and get my family to a red state where I'll be surrounded by like-minded freedom loving folks who just want to be left alone.

I don't know how some of you can manage to hold out hope for a peaceful/political reversal and solution. I admire your optimism and faith, I truly do.

Well one thing that stuck out at me reading the manifesto was the Charlie Sheen comment. Of course reading up to that point I needed a cheer up and it did put a smile on my face if that was the intention.

He goes into his first school exp about hitting/kicking a boy for using the N word. He states the principle swatted the boy using the word and that he was swatted too. He did not understand why he was swatted...

You know, I don't know how many times we had to recite "Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me" in early school classes. That one got really old fast but the message stuck.

Years later he finds himself choking another officer in a police van over the use of the N word. My opinion is right there he had proved himself unsuitable to be an LAPD officer as it showed he lacked control, taking a word to the physical. If he would attack an officer in a cop van loaded with other cops, what would he do to a citizen using a racial slur? It takes a lot of control to be a good cop and in my opinion he disqualifies himself right there.

Depends on the location Fraudster. Denver/Boulder is deep blue, along with much of the I70 corridor through the mountains. Southern Denver suburbs and exurbs, along with CO Springs are pretty red, with most everything else (usually VERY rural) being deep red.

Its a pretty split state and would make a bloody battleground as most of the libs I have met here seem to have guns too.

Advise01, I think you've got the Indiana law backwards. I believe the courts determined that Indiana residents WERE JUSTIFIED in shooting a LEO that was entering their home illegally. Karl wrote a Ticker about it, I believe.

Yeah, what Sean said... It's turning blue fast. Our dem-controlled legislature is lookin to roll out some pretty radical gun legislation this year too.

Big-gov, academia, influx of Californicators, large number of illegals having babies like crazy and teaching them leftie ideals... lol. Not looking good for the future of the state.

If you are using that for a justification it seems to me that he was eminently qualified to be a pig. Esp. for the LAPD.

Bertdilbert, I read the full manifesto too (I just skimmed the celebrity suck-off section), and I think you hit the nail on the head. I think this is a just a thug killing other thugs because he didn't get his way. There was some good in him once, but it's long gone.

He may be fighting a corrupt system today, but he's already been so indoctrinated by it that he can't imagine why the "little people" should have the same capacity to defend themselves that he demands and is now employing on his own behalf.

What a childish ass-hat. I say screw him and the corrupt officers in the LAPD (plus the "good" cops whose silence gives them the space to operate). Pass the popcorn.

Given his anti-2nd Amendment ranting, if there were a little more tin foil in my hat...

This show is causing me to cheer appropriately. I hope it plays out in a satisfying way, with the right kind of victims, and it doesn't end too quickly for Dorner. Of course, it's inevitable he will be brought down. Will it be possible to accurately count the number of bullets fired to do so?

i feel like we're watching a real life movie of Shooter/Bourne Identity.

It's also VERY interesting, and very much a CONFIRMATION of all the scenarios and predicted outcomes discussed on TF over the last 5 years.

This man has accepted death and he admits it. Therefore a gun ban is useless.

I have not read the manifesto. But it sounds like he's standing up against corruption and wrong doing. His line in the sand was crossed.

We now know first hand the level of thuggary and disgusting behavior that cops will take. We now know that the men in blue truly do think it's "us vs. them" with regards to citizens and how easily they'll shoot at innocent women.

He's going to die fairly soon. That is 100% fact. However, there's a decent chance of him taking out quite a few people before so.

Seeing this unfold, and knowing the history of Nazi Germany....anyone who is not armed and complies by opening up the door when they come knocking will have no one to blame but themselves when they're executed or marched into a gas chamber.
