That may be, Imust, but here in NC, the General Assembly is working to cut benefits from $535 dollars to $350 a week.

So while additional UEC can be had, the amount less is significant.

Can someone help me understand where the 1.446 million drop in monthly employment and increase of 423000 in not-in-labor are in the linked PDF? When I look at Summary Table A for household data, my interpretation says employment increased over last month (143,305 to 143,322). Is there some behind-the-scenes math I'm missing?

For you stock market bulls and for a new definition of Leverage, see this post. NAAIM survey says funds managers 104% long. Never ever has the group been net leveraged. This is a bomb waiting to go off.

Look at the non-adjusted numbers.

Unadjusted. Which is what your post says right about the chart, but apparently I need to get my eyes adjusted. Or maybe next time can you put the part I'm missing in red and underline it? Thanks... :D

Thanks for the last two charts Karl, those are the real numbers and ones that matter.

It's Tickers like these that make the blog the best, and why I hope Karl never gives up doing this. No frills, no bull****ting around for us with Bloomberg, CNBC, and other propaganda. You get all the facts that matter right here. (Not to mention, Karl's pretty quick with this stuff, ain't he?)
