It's justifiably immoral to deal morally with an immoral entity. If you trade based on what other people say, you will lose money. Especially what I say. I won't be held responsible. Festina lente.

Now, here is some GREAT news that will get virtually zero coverage, I'm sure: Teachers in Ohio, Texas flock to free gun training classes By Kim Palmer and Jim Forsyth | Reuters – 1 hr 37 mins ago http://news.yahoo.com/teachers-ohio-texa....Excerpt: CLEVELAND/SAN ANTONIO (Reuters) - School teachers in Texas and Ohio are flocking to free firearms classes in the wake of the Connecticut elementary school massacre, some vowing to protect their students with guns even at the risk of losing their jobs. In Ohio, more than 900 teachers, administrators and school employees asked to take part in the Buckeye Firearms Association's newly created, three-day gun training program, the association said. In Texas, an $85 Concealed Handgun License (CHL) course offered at no cost to teachers filled 400 spots immediately, forcing the school to offer another class, one instructor said. ------------- And some US death stats to provide perspective: Figures from The JOURNAL of the AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION (JAMA) Vol 284, No 4, July 26th, 2000, article about US deaths, written by Dr Barbara Starfield, MD, MPH, Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health: 2,000 deaths/year from unnecessary surgery - 5.5 deaths/day 7,000 deaths/year from medication errors in hospitals - 19 deaths/day 20,000 deaths/year from other errors in hospitals - 55 deaths/day American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) figures: 38,000 suicide deaths/year - 104 deaths/day CDC figures: 41,000 poisoning deaths/year (not including alcohol)- 112/day 31,000 firearm deaths/year consisting of: 18,500 firearm suicides/year - 50 deaths/day 12,500 homicide deaths/year - 34 deaths/day 25,500 accidental fall deaths/year - 70 deaths/day 24,500 alcohol-caused deaths/year (not including acts due to intoxication) - 67 deaths/day 26,500 infant under one year of age deaths/year - 72 deaths/day From the above data, it can be seen that you are nearly three times more likely to kill yourself than to be killed by someone else with a firearm, more than twice as likely to die due to the use of alcohol, twice as likely to die from an accidental fall, more than twice as likely to die from a hospital error.

"Emmeryville police chief Ken James supports the tighter restrictions.
"Right now you can buy bullets in any store and the sale is not recorded," James said. "Gun violence will continue unless we control the sale of bullets."
I wonder if this moron would see a problem with the similar statement, "Arsons will continue unless we control the sale of matches and lighters"?

I think 2,750 is rounded up to 2,800 which is 25% of the full 11,000 that includes gang bangers

Actually, 2,800 is California including suicides I believe.
I highly doubt close to 30% of all gun MURDERS take place in California. I suppose it is possible though.

The city of Los Angeles requires ID with purchase of ammo. I don't know which state department gets the reports.
Hasn't made much difference that I can see. South Central LA is still under control of gangs.
I view it a theatre to reassure the masses that the city government is protecting them.

California State representraitor Nancy Skinner is a Red Diaper baby: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nancy_Skinn....Quote:Early political career
Skinner attended the University of California, Berkeley and earned both a B.S. from the College of Natural Resources and a Masters in Education from the UC Berkeley School of Education. As a student, she was a leader in the Anti-Apartheid Movement, served as the Academic Affairs Vice President of the ASUC, the student government, and was a founder of ASGE, the Union of Graduate Student Employees.[1] Skinner later taught courses in native California plants and interned at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.[2]
Skinner was elected to the Berkeley City Council while still a student and served from 1984-1992. She remains the only student ever elected to the City Council.[1][3] During her time on the council, she helped establish Eastshore State Park, pushed for Berkeley to become the first city in the United States to have a 50% recycling goal, and authored legislation to ban Styrofoam at fast food businesses, the first such legislation in the United States[1] Environmental, Educational, and Political Activism
After serving on the City Council, Skinner served in leadership capacities for several non-profit organizations concerning the environment. She founded ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability, a coalition of 800 global cities, and Cities for Climate Protection with 500 U.S. member cities, to assist urban regions with environmental and global warming policy, respectively. She was the U.S. director of The Climate Group, an international organization that works with businesses to address global warming. She also coauthored the best selling book series, Fifty Things You Can Do to Save the Earth and has written a pair of articles concerning global warming for the San Francisco Chronicle.
Skinner was an active member in the PTA and worked on a campaign to pass a parcel tax to fund Berkeley schools. She was Chair of the Berkeley School Enrichment Program Committee at Martin Luther King Jr. High School.
Skinner coordinated Loni Hancock's 2002 State Assembly campaign and was a Field Manager for Barbara Lee's 2002 Congressional campaign. She has worked for the campaigns of several local, state, and national democratic candidates, including presidential candidates Al Gore and John Kerry.[1]... Peninsular Skinner probably has armed guards protecting her at the state capitol. I doubt that the California mestizos or indios will kick too much, considering that this kind of thing is par for the course in Southern Southern California (aka Mexico). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peninsulare....Quote:In the colonial caste system of Spanish America, a peninsular (Spanish pronunciation: [peninsuˈlar], pl. peninsulares) was a Spanish-born Spaniard or mainland Spaniard residing in the New World, as opposed to a person of full Spanish descent born in the Americas or Philippines (known as criollos). The word "peninsular" makes reference to the Iberian Peninsula where Spain is located.
Offices of the Americas and Philippines were held by peninsulares. Apart from the distinction of peninsulares from criollos, the castas system distinguished also mestizos (of mixed Spanish and Amerindian ancestry), mulatos (of mixed Spanish and black ancestry), indios, zambos (mixed Amerindian and black ancestry) and finally blacks. In some places and times, such as during the wars of independence, peninsulares were called deprecatively godos (for the "Visigoths," who had ruled Spain), or in Mexico, gachupines or gauchos.[citation needed]...

I'm not a fan of Alex Jones because on too many topics, like 9/11, he's nuts, and from this interview it's clear that he's a horrible debater, but note how Piers Morgan pays absolutely no attention whatsoever to the facts Jones is stating here: Alex Jones vs Piers Morgan Part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtyKofFih....Alex Jones vs Piers Morgan Part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tf-i3Y5iR....Also note that Piers Morgan plays the 9/11 card near the end to discredit Jones on all topics which is a logical fallacy. And here's how the media presents it: Man behind ‘Deport Piers Morgan’ petition has meltdown on Morgan’s show http://ca.news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/a....Meltdown in this case means "the process or state of irreversible breakdown or decline." That was NOT the case for Jones in this interview.

Alex Jones will be all over this gals bio, it will fit in perfectly into his anti globalist theme. She is pure globalist.
She founded ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability, a coalition of 800 global cities, and Cities for Climate Protection with 500 U.S. member cities, to assist urban regions with environmental and global warming policy, respectively. Hey, what isn't under attack in California?
The dems now have the SUPERMAJORITY in the State legislature and you are going to see coming attractions that will make your head spin. And be careful. California is one of those states where approved legislation becomes infectious and starts to spread. Often, what is done in California does not stay in California. We are talking a form of communism, an ideology that we literally spent $trillions$ to destroy.
Showing ID to buy ammunition and placing requirements on ammunition suppliers is NOTHING compared to what's coming. Watch what happens after one or two more of these publicized shootings like Sandy Hill. And it's inevitable is a society such as ours. Hell. We drop bombs on cities and villages for sport!

"She is pure globalist."
A you referring to Piers Morgan? If so, it's a he.
Everyone should watch those videos. It's virtually a point-by-point review of what Karl has already said here along with my statistical points which PROVE that one of the very last things you should ever be concerned about is you or even anyone you know being killed with an AR rifle.

Oh, that's totally my impression about Piers Morgan from that interview. Jones makes completely valid point after valid point backed up with presented facts (until the 9/11 sabotage by Morgan at the end) and Morgan pays them absolutely no attention whatsoever or responds to any of them. No fact will ever divert this arrogant ass from his moronic beliefs.

2800 a year? Big ****ing deal! That's a rounding error. That's 2 days worth of smoking deaths. How about this stat? Why aren't we locking up the Tobacco companies for murder???? CDC wrote.. The adverse health effects from cigarette smoking account for an estimated 443,000 deaths per year. http://www.cdc.gov/tobacco/data_statisti....

In the long run even the most despotic governments with all their brutality and cruelty are no match for ideas. Eventually the ideology that has won the support of the majority will prevail and cut the ground from under the tyrant's feet and rise in rebellion to overthrow their masters.
