I had this interview pinned to the top of my FB page for the past couple of days. This guy is my new hero. Everything he said was spot on. His actions are above reproach. And I loved how he stood his ground to the reporter who was trying to pin Dana's future viability on him. To his credit, and polite restraint, he didn't say, 'Well, if they're *******s they should go out of business,' like I would have said.

This could work for the Oath Keepers. Never let a crises go to waste. This is tailor made for them. Make a stand people will back them up. If they dont stand up on this? One might be forced to draw some idea about them as a group.

I've "talked" with this sheriff many times over the past few years on another forum, and seen him take very public and unequivocal pro-2A and pro-liberty positions a many times before. Yeah, I wish I could move to his county.

If you go actively looking for thugs with clubs, there are quite a few of them, but look at Greece.. Plenty of people gathering in one place and getting clubbed, but then also there are whole towns reverting to barter and/or local currencies. There don't seem to be enough clubs to put a stop to that.

To Statists obedience must come cheap, as for the Wizard of Oz who need only pay to run a projector and some pyrotechnics. Tear gas some kids here, club a few there, then pray to whatever dark Mammon you worship the other 99 percent that you didn't club or gas are sufficiently impressed by your little show.

Most sheriffs don't want to upset the apple cart because they typically have the lowest murder rates in the world. It is the outrageous gun violence in inner cities that makes us look bad vs other countries. Half the violent crime is committed by young black males in gun free zones

I just sent Dana Safety Supply an email explaining that I will not purchase any goods or service from any of their companies due to their decision.

Any known relationship between Dana Safety Corp. and Dana Holding Corp.?

Send letters to the police chiefs of your jurisdictions asking them to stop doing business with Dana Safety Corp. and attach the articles to explain why you, as a citizen are requesting such a position from your jurisdiction law enforcement purchasing.

I just heard from a sheriff I know from my shooting range that a flood of letters to law enforcement, which is rare, will really get the ball rolling.

You folks might want to consider sending a letter to C&E and Dixie Gun shows with the appropriate internet articles attached asking for them to drop Dana Safety Corporation and all their subsidiaries from their gun shows.

I want to thank you for the emphasis on safety your show provides combined with the excellent support from our local law enforcement that ensures that safety is paramount during the operation of your very valuable commercial event.

Unfortunately, it has recently come to my attention that several companies have decided to take the controversial move to restrict selling all or some of their gun products to the consumer. These companies, for whatever reason, have voluntarily ventured into controversy and political discourse which their marketing decisions, even prompting boycotts from some law enforcement organizations and creating an adverse environment for the patriotic and law-abiding clientele that usually is associated with your show attendees. Attached below you can find the internet links and associated references to the actions of these corporations and the reactions they have received.

In the interest of public safety and to preserve the marvelous safety record your show and the gun show industry has delivered to date to Americans, I urge you to consider dropping from show exhibition any firm in any way publicly or privately related to any of the following firms:

With all those car dealerships, the family that owns these corps is extremely wealthy and powerful. Find out who they are and check their campaign contribution.

Or better yet, see what .gov contracts they are vying for.........

If you live near one of those car dealerships picket them.

If I did, I would. That would get their attention FAST.

Yes they do, unless they are being secretly and possibly illegally pressured in an active contract or in a bidding situation by a .gov agency such as DHS or ATF into not selling a particular product in exchange for a positive review in the bidding.

This may explain Joe Biden's comment "that we'll have assault weapons banned in January" without Congress and/or the King's comments that he's working on a advantage in his position over Congress even before the proposed bills get into a committee. Who in the MSM will investigate this? No one. It's the tyranny of FDR all over again with the press acquiescing to the King as he enslaves the American people.

But......

we do have the right to boycott and protest, at the risk of being labelled "terrorists" for exercising our right to dissent.

We need to start thinking of boycotting entire cities and states as well. Why vacation in an unsafe locale?
