Yep. A friend commented to me some time back that it would only be a matter of time before we went to war with China.
I replied that China declared war on us years ago, we just haven't admitted it yet.
You're seeing the age of BRICS coming to frution. The Old Order - the western Washington/London order - is almost exhausted, and the dragon rising in the east is nothing to snicker about.

So did they get the whole $2.2 billion in the settlement (too tired after a full day's work to read the article)?

Our government is in cahoots with these guys. We won't burn the money we "owe" them because our government is just as much an enemy of the people as the Chinese. Our only hope is the Chinese recognize same, I guess.

As a matter of fact I worked for one many years ago. What a mistake that was. So cheap his ass squeaked when he walked.

Lol, how long will we continue to miss the big picture? It's so easy to get trapped into the western paradigm. In times like this - no, ESPECIALLY in times like this - it pays to expand your thinking to global boundaries. http://occupycorporatism.com/brics-summi....April marked a new direction for the BRICs countries as they ended their summit in New Delhi, India with talks of moving away from the US dollar as the global currency. Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa are the emerging economies of the world. The G5 countries in counter ignore their movement toward better trade, ceasing the destruction of our planet and the end of slavery through debt. They do this at their own peril. One of the main issues was these countries growing clout over major political issues affecting the globe. China and Russia showed their support for a cease fire in Syria. However, they are not in favor of President Assad stepping down, as the US and Europe have indicated is their preference. The BRICs countries are pushing for peace, but not through force and occupation of other countries to obtain this goal. President of Russia had this to say about the United Nations and their obvious attempts at global governance through usurpation of powers over countries. “One of the priorities of BRICs for the years to come should be the strengthening and key role of the UN’s Security Council in maintaining international peace and security. And also ensuring that the UN is not used as a cover for regime change and unilateral actions to resolve conflict situations.” The BRICs summit found these countries in accord for reforming the UN and its powers over the nations of the world. Thus far, the UN has turned into a front for the global Elite to march against any country they wanted to destroy; whether through economics or brute force with the power of NATO soldiers. The Obama administration has been supportive of the UN’s slow takeover. BRICs see this development as a threat to the future of individual sovereignty of nations to choose freely and not have to answer to the UN’s Fascist power grab. BRICs do not support the sanctions on Iran. They feel they are a bullying techniques being used by the US in conjunction with the global Elite and the UN. BRICs want to see Iran free to choose who they trade with as a sovereign nation should be. One suggestion placed on the table was to bailout Europe from the clutches of the central banking system. A BRICs basket currency was discussed to allow non-aligned countries to trade with each other without the fears that the central banks and their fiat currency entail. This would serve as an alternative to the US dollar and the Euro. It would empower other nations to rise up economically. In a stance against the US dollar, BRICs countries have already begun to trade amongst themselves using approved currencies that are backed by precious metals. The IMF and World Bank are alarmed by this move and highly disapprove of it. This is not shocking, considering that the central banks play a game of printing fiat that has no precious metals backing the paper. The BRICs countries signed an agreement to give our loans in their respective currencies in a further effort to move away from the US dollar and Euro. A joint BRICs bank was discussed with vigor. It would serve as an alternative to central banks that abuse their power at the expense of nations worldwide. They hope to replace the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. This summit surely made the global Elite quite nervous. And rightfully so. Over 180 countries have signed onto the BRICs agreement as evidenced in their declaration. While the global Elite still hold power over the G5 countries, the rest of the world is standing up, severing their ties and making plans for a new world without them.

Amazing story. Someone, probably backed by ChinaGov, installed a rootkit on his server.
Windows has a lot of vulnerabilities.
I wonder if he was behind any kind of firewall? My home systems are protected first by a router to deter incoming traffic, then by software lockouts on the various OSX systems. WPA2 with a strong password keeps out wardrivers.
I still worry about various Java, pdf, flash and Quicktime vulnerabilities in sites I visit. I like to think I'm OK.

Don't forget about Mexico either. Repel all their citizens in our country and demand oil for free to cover the costs that its citizens have cost taxpayers.
Of course that'll never happen. We're the stupidest empire in the history of empires. What other empire in the history of the world actually defended other countries (Japan, Europe, South Korea, Egypt, Israel, and Iran for FREE and THEN....THEN....actually paid the world market price for commodities it gained as a result of its military adventures? What other empire actually rebuilds conquered nations while neglecting its core????? Other other empire actually spent blood and treasure defending the access of competing nations' access to resources (Middle East)? Remember, we get a small % of our oil from the Middle East. Most of the benefit goes to China, Japan, and South Korea.
Why are we so F*cking stupid??????????????????????????????

First rule of system restoration after suspected compromise: Nuke it from orbit, and reinstall from known good back-ups. Why this guy didn't do that remains known only to himself. Configuring IPTABLES to drop all connections from China is also a good suggestion.

It's hard for me to believe that any attempt to stop this sort of behavior is not met with a simple reminder of the economic armageddon that would occur if China suddenly dumped their US treasuries, and stopped buying more. Yes, I know it would change things for them also but it appears they are shoring up their global assets and commodities to make the threat realistic.
