Gary Johnson is a damned fool and dangerous besides.

It is tragic when Americans serving their country are murdered, and we both mourn their loss and honor their service.

Gary should have shut up right there and he would have been fine.  But he couldn't do that, could he?

Part of honoring that service is to ask the obvious question: What U.S. interest is being served by putting our people – and our money – in places where U.S. personnel can be killed by extremists over a video? We launched millions of dollars worth of missiles to bring down Gaddafi, and this is what we get. We hail and encourage the outbreak of an Arab Spring in Egypt, send them billions of dollars we can’t afford, — and our embassy is breached and our flag desecrated.

Now I know with certainty that Gary Johnson is unfit to be Commander in Chief.  He is both dangerous and deluded.

We didn't lose an Ambassador over a video.  That was a military operation and there was exactly nothing random or spontaneous about it.  Or have you been ignoring the news?

Random mobs don't try to sack a diplomatic location and also know of the "safe house" where the people are evacuated to, then go and sack that, killing the Ambassador.   And that's just the beginning -- there are multiple additional reports of other attacks that clearly demonstrate extensive prior planning, command and control.

Rioting mobs have neither planning or command and control in place.  They're mobs!

Oh sure, we have demonstrators too, complete with burning flags and chants of "death to America."   Another useful tool -- send out the people and get 'em riled up to lay cover for your military operation timed precisely for the anniversary of 9/11, when the alleged "movie" that supposedly provoked all of this was on Youtube for more than two months prior.

And Johnson, like Carney in the White House (at Obama's obvious direction since he works for him) swallowed that entire truckload of crap hook, line and sinker.

There are times that plausible scenarios come up that might tie to some perceived insult.  That doesn't excuse it, of course -- witness the millions of Christians in this country that did not riot, loot or burn when "Piss Christ" was on exhibit. 

They also didn't goad politicians into faux outrage as cover for a military operation intent on assassination and destruction.

But this isn't one of those instances -- this is nothing more or less than a distributed, planned and executed military assault and if you were too damned stupid to figure that out by the time the first round of press reports hit the wire then you are too deficient in brainpower or far too involved in rectal-cranial inversion to qualify for the job of President of this nation.

As for us being in The Middle East if we'd pull our head out of our ass on energy policy then we wouldn't need to spend half of what we do on military force nor would we need to guard our access to foreign oil.  This is a mess of our own design 40 years in the making and it's beyond asinine to pretend that we can either ignore that fact or walk away form it without fixing the underlying problem.

But heh, when you're running for President -- or when you are President -- you don't have to have a brain or any power of deductive reasoning at all.

You just need a big mouth.
