The "you have to go 'friend' someone for some game" thing is is important to the subset of people who play games on FB that rely on having numerous others you know playing, but only have 1-2 actual ones that might be interested.

The value of marketing to someone's friends using their information to be more precise only helps if you can trust the friends aren't entirely random.

wow etb, did you buy the drop ? yur balls be as big as Gens..

It's not balls, it's called option trading on OpEx Friday. I also bought AMZN 135 calls for 17 cents and sold them for $2.10 because.

Right now I'm selling my 138 SPY calls which I picked up for 6 cents.

Almost every trader is bearish and shorting but getting asspounded. Even AAPL shorts didn't make **** on a MISS!

Anyone that doesn't see this as the bubble that it is has got to be blind from my perspective.....

I've been saying for over 2 years that this "market" is going to new all time highs, all in the midst of a total global economic collapse..........

By the way, historically, about 70% of my option trades don't work, but the ones that do are 3, 5, 10 or even 20 baggers. Those more than make up for the throwaways. Lately though, about 80 to 90% of them have been working though....

As if the recent weak earnings report and associated stock downturn weren't bad enough news for Zynga, at least five law firms are now actively investigating the social gaming powerhouse for security law violations related to sales of company stock three months ago.

Schubert, Jonckheer, & Kolbe, LLP; Johnson & Weaver, LLP; Bronstein, Gewirtz, & Grossman, LLC; Levi & Korsinsky; and Wohl & Fruchter, LLP have all announced they are actively investigating whether executives and shareholders including CEO Mark Pincus breached their fiduciary duty and broke securities law in selling over $500 million worth of stock in a secondary stock offering this April. In selling that stock at $12 a share—well above the current $3 share price brought on by the weak earnings report—the executives allegedly "misrepresented and/or failed to disclose materially adverse facts about its business and financial condition." In other words, they knew this was coming, and they sold their own interests rather than warning the general shareholders.

Besides CEO Mark Pincus, the list of major shareholders that sold off part of their interest in the company in April includes COO John Schappert and CFO Dave Wehner, venture capital firms Venture Partners, Silver Lake Partners, and Union Square Ventures, and even Google, which was revealed as an early Zynga investor during the latter company's IPO.

I said previously that someone was going to sue Zynga's pants off for blatantly ripping off one of their games. Unlike other companies who've also sued Zynga for ripping off games, EA isn't likely to take a paltry settlement to make it all go away.

CHICAGO (MarketWatch) - Video game maker Electronic Arts on Friday said that it has filed a lawsuit on behalf of its Maxis Label against Zynga for allegedly infringing its copyrights to a Facebook game called the "Sims Social." The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California claims Zynga's recently released Facebook game "The Ville" willfully and intentionally "copied and misappropriated the original and distinctive expressive elements of the Sims Social in a violation of U.S. copyright laws."In an accompanying statement, EA said that "today, we hope to be taking a stand that helps the industry protect the value of original creative works and those that work tirelessly to create them."
