As seems to happen so often to me lately I dislike both sides. I don't want preached at when engaged in a commercial transaction - yet Rahm is indeed a flaming jackass and wrong to make it the business of government.

It's not discrimination when the government does it. After all, at some point in time the flavor of the month might have been victimized and, as a cost of living in a society, your superiors can and will tell you how to think and behave. Be a good little sheep, bow down to your overlords and show some respect.

I've been to Chic-Fila several times. I've never felt like they tried to preach at me, and the food wasn't too bad. If I decide I don't like what their positions are as a company and I care enough to do something about it, then I'll make sure to never do business with them. But, they have the right to operate regardless of that.

Yeah with all the fuss the gays have made over this, I'm fairly certain that for every person that stops eating at CFA there are two more that will eat there JUST because of this. I happen to fully support a corporation that stands for American ideals and morals and hasn't bent over to suck from the PC pecker. PC is a cancer that MUST be stamped out if this country is ever to survive.

Just got back from CFA for picking up my salad. It doesn't matter what time of the day it is, the place is always absolutely jam packed inside with a drive thru lane wrapped around the building. They're obviously doing something right and people don't care what the founder thinks about gays.

Should I mail my receipt for today's lunch to Rahm with a copy of this Ticker?

Is it just me, or are these wannabe tyrants (0Bama: "you didn't build that", Emanuel: See above, Bloomberg: "cops should go on strike") unmasking themselves at an accelerating rate recently? I've not seen anything like this since the late 1960s or early 1970s... and back then, it was mostly radical nutcases, not 'respectable' government officials.

Are they emboldened? Or is it an act of desperation on the part of a dying quasi-socialist movement?
