I believe there is an effort to make August 1st eat at Chick day. I don't usually eat there because they are too expensive. But will load up the whole family for next Wednesday to support them (even though I don't agree with them on their religious views).

The chicken strips salad is my favorite. Will be having it for lunch today. And for anyone that hasn't tried their honey roasted bbq sauce...OMG it is to die for!
And Rahm Emanuel can kiss my ass. What an *******. I'd love to see a ton of businesses leave Chicago because of the crap he's doing.

I got this email a few days ago, they are aiming for Aug. 3. I'd go that day, but I'd keep my children away: When you thought anti-Christian hate couldn't escalate more, this report shows that Facebook did in fact delete and censor our event link because its "content" was offensive, even though they didn't take down the site promoting "Same Sex Kiss Day" to be conducted at Chick Fil-A stores on August 3. Here are my views:
1) What a person says or thinks is completely separate from their job or business interests. ANY owner or ANY business has the right to his/her own views, and neither I nor anyone else (nor EVERYONE else) have a right to do anything but disagree with those views. Government, on any level, has no legitimate power to punish (or reward) any business because of the personal views of its owner(s) - to the contrary, the 1st Amendment specifically prohibits ANY restriction of this kind of speech (i.e. merely stating one's views - this is quite different from shouting "FIRE!" in a crowded theater when, in fact, there is no fire). As KD said, if there is any evidence of Chick-Fil-A discriminating against any employee or customer because they are gay, that is a different issue - but I've heard no mention of such, and such behavior (if it exists, which I doubt) has its own set of remedies that DON'T include a blanket refusal to give Chick-Fil-A the permits necessary to do business.
2) Rahm Emmanuel, like virtually all "Leftists," is a fascist. Here's the Dictionary.com definition of "Fascism": "a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism." Emmanuel is, like Obama & Co., forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism. So is that douchebag, Mumbles Mennino, in Boston, and the multitude of similar douchebags in San Francisco. Recognize these people for what they are - Fascists - and call them out on it. I, for one, would LOVE to see this label applied to these people on the various Sunday political shows and in other forums, just for the purpose of putting them on the defensive (where they belong, given the un-American nature of their actions). The fact that I will enjoy some schaedenfreud because Leftist heads will explode at their darlings being labelled in this fashion is simply a bonus.
3) In their incredible arrogance, Chicago, Boston and SF have set themselves up perfectly for lawsuits that they will lose to Chick-Fil-A and any others treated in the same manner (like the franchisees). Given that this involves a denial of 1st Amendment rights, and that it is being done under "color of law," then the individuals in question are setting themselves up for losing a Section 1983 lawsuit.
4) As for eating at Chick-Fil-A, I cannot because I keep kosher. I can, however, buy soda there and I intend to do so as part of the buycott to counter the Leftist filth (but I repeat myself) that are trying to destroy this business.
5) I wouldn't mind seeing a list of businesses that are HQ'd in ****cago and Baaaaahston and San Franfreako, so that I can boycott them. I already don't buy Ghiradeli chocolate products because of SF's position on firearms, but I'd like to add to the list.

I'm with Gen, I was already thinking about going to CFA today. Have a bunch of coupons for Buy one get one free sandwiches, and was already thinking about eating there today. Sounds good for lunch! I eat there often anyway because I like the food and the friendly atmosphere and good service, but this is one more reason to support them. "Eat mor chikin"! (CFA joke) :)
