The criminal justice system is BUILT on over charging and any other amount of bull**** that can be used to keep the convict rate high enough for the next job/election,etc.

The gvt will try to scare the saps into plea down so as to avoid the pain and expense of the fight and they get away with it so often that it is now standard practice for these goon squads.

To say any part of this justice scam is actually about justice is to not know much about the system on the ground.

Someone else posted this, which puts Zimmerman in a better light then cuts his throat at the end. Travon is still eating Skittles. This community is just like I imagined it, a fairly nice townhome complex that was riddled with foreclosures and leased to hoods. We bought a unit 30 years ago and when I was making it ready for lease 3 years ago, the stuff going on across the street wasn't exactly family oriented. Cars pulling up and leaving all the time. Some of the characters I got applications from. There are a minority of suburbanites even comprehend this place. I'm guessing Travon knew Zimmeman identified his buddy.

I met a guy a few years ago Dershowitz got out of prison, falsely imprisoned. A NYC DA invented the charges against this guy, apparently out of revenge for his having an affair with the guys (asst DA) wife before they got married.

If prosecuters actually sought justice, there would probably be a lot fewer people in prison. What I think they do is seek customers for the bar association.
