Vote for who ever you like, just realize it will do nothing of value and may very well backfire.

IMO, if you're voting for the lesser of two evils, you're still voting for evil. For myself, I will vote (or write-in, if need be) for the man/woman I feel has our country's best interests at heart and is willing to have the difficult discussions with our people. I would rather go down in flames knowing I voted my conscience than to vote for evil, two-faced liars no matter their official political party tag. I will not vote for either them any longer. I "woke up" after the last election and refuse to go back to sleep. Starve the two-headed beast...

I see it similar to a debt snowball...your initial efforts may seem slight and not worthwhile, but over time the momentum builds and soon you're making huge changes rather than small ones. But if you don't at least start with the small payments, you'll never achieve the bigger ones and ultimately reach your debt-free goal.
