I fear that what this whole show--and yes, it has become simply that, it seems--proves is that the law is not supreme, but rather has been subjugated by popular opinion and political expediency. In other words, you or I can go out and act completely within the law and our constitutional rights, yet through the machinations of evil men we can still have our entire lives taken away from us as George Zimmerman no doubt has. Any hope that the rule of just law can somehow be restored peacefully--through voting or other means--is fanciful.

Civil rights laws were designed during the 1960's so that the Feds would have open season go after whitey in the South whenever they felt need-be. And as payback for chattel slavery and Jim Crow, I suppose that it's hard to bitch about the justice of them the way things stood when they were passed. But the fact of the matter is that they are based on premises about race that don't apply outside of that narrow range.

The only evidence of this you need is to see the video of Zimmerman above and compare it with the other photos of him which have been aired. GZ is a hispanic. He looks hispanic. The photos of him that have been popularly aired make him look like the racist white janitor at Sanford Elementary school who burns crosses on lawns for his friday nite fun.

Like we've always said, if there was clear evidence to the contrary, he would have been brought up on charges much sooner.

It is shameful Mortgage D and as someone that works for them I am ashamed to be a part of that group. I already knew it was getting out of hand in how they wanted things presented, but this is beyond the pale. The tipping point for me was yesterday. I was on a blog (trayvon supporter) and they posted a video from AP TV. I have a contract with them. If I had lived near or in Sanford I would have been working this event.

I watched the piece. It started out with the picture of a 12 year old Trayvon talking about "17 year old unarmed Trayvon Martin was shot by George Martin" Everyone when I talk to them think that young kid is who was shot. When I tell them what Trayvon looks like now they become"confused", then when I relate some of the known facts being left out of the media's presentation. Most state, I knew something wasn't right about this story.

The rest of the piece were interviews with people of Sanford about the case. All saying it needed to go to trial. Why do they think that, because the facts ARE available, just the media intentionally is covering them up.

I know the people that edited that piece, they probably don't know the facts either, but they should, I do, its what a producer/reporter does.

I am done with the main media, gotta find that contract and send it to their legal department and tell them to stuff it and why.

I am making the choice, my rights, and my freedom are worth WAY MORE than their ****ing fiat dollars to buy ****ing **** for food and lies on cable. ****em, and don't let the door hit them on the way out. Because even if you are only driving the get away car and someone shoots and kills someone in the bank, you are still responsible.

Au contraire... Many states have laws prohibiting carrying knives with blades beyond a certain length. In Illinois, that length is 3 inches though some local governments outlaw blades that are even shorter than that.

I have a Kershaw Blur S30V. The blade is 3-3/8 inches. If I carried it and subsequently used it in the same manner Zimmerman used his gun, that would make me "armed with a dangerous weapon" and aggravated charges could result.

They're against knives, too. Basically, they're against *anything* that can be used for self-defense. They don't want us to be able to defend ourselves against *any* kind of enemy or attack, themselves included.

There is a quiet program to disarm us all. The news media of all types, conservative and liberal are making a point to broadcast every fool case that is happening in the US. They used some case in Australia to take all the guns.

It is pretty clear what happened here. Zimmerman stepped over his bounds and upon being questioned, Tryvon got*****wed and proceded to kick Zimmerman's sawed off little ass. I doubt Tryvon knew Zimmerman had a gun, because if he did, he was either stupid or crazy.

There was a recent case here, where a 14 year old got shot. The story is these kids rang a guy front door bell and then ran around to the back door and kicked it in. The guy dusted one of them. Home invasion robberies are pretty common here. I had never heard of one until a couple of years ago. The uproar is this guy shot a 14 year old and evidently didn't quit shooting. The uproar should be these little Mexicans were doing home invasions. Maybe they were too stupid to know this, but you kick someone's door in, you should be prepared to die. If kick in door, die became common, it would stop.
