The Department of Justice won't be filing trumped up charges. They'll come down on George Zimmerman so hard for civil rights violations he'll feel like someone ran a train up his ass.

This is going to be a hell of a story if someone wants to reveal what's going on behind the scenes.

The case for the prosector intentionally throwing this goes like this: They realize they don't have enough evidence even to get a manslaughter charge through. But this will anger the mob ginned up by Al Sharpton and the rest of the usual suspects who burn the town down. They know they can't get a Grand Jury to indict for anything based on the evidence, so they go ahead and overcharge with a ridiculous Murder 2 charge.

They know full well a judge will throw this out. The judge is thus the bad guy,and they, the executive branch of Florida, can say they tried and thus appease the mob. Maybe the mob will accept the judge's dismissal rather than them failing to bring charges. If the mob still burns the town down, it's not their fault, but the judge's.

If this theory is true, then the executive are a bunch of cowards, of course, but that's par for this sorry course.

Of course the charge is crap. If it weren't, it would've been filed within days of the event, before it ever hit the national news. This is the equivalent of a perverse tearing of a scab off of a wound.

Unless he relocates, gets a major cosmetic surgery alteration and severs all contact with his family permanently, some aggrieved minority-type will empty a "nine" into his body. Z is flat out not safe on the North American continent. Z will be hunted down. Innocent look-alikes will likely be targeted.

All of the burden for Z's murder will be on the heads and hands of the ****-stirrers. Sharpton. Jackson. Obama. Tyson. A hundred others who want chocolate justice.

Once Z is dead, the perp will be celebrated for it, lionized, land a job with the New Black Panthers, serve as a spokesperson for other aggrieved minorities, and be interviewed on the traditional news shows as his trial dwarfs other real news of the day. He will be defended by the best black ****-stirring attorney to be had (and assisted by a cadre of white lawyers for balance), who will make it a point to be on television every chance he gets. The perp will be convicted, and serve a very minor term. The lawyer will go on to land guest shots on MSNBC, Oprah, The View, and a dozen other shows.

This is the state of Justice in the nation these days.

The black leadership and the DNC are walking lock step to bring the fire to the powder keg. All this does is allow more powder to be placed.

Hope you're all far away from a major poor, black population center when it blows. Detroit and Watts and Rodney King will be small potatoes.

Just setting up for the acquittal, so Zimmerman can be charged with a Federal crime -- thus proving, once again, that Uncle Sugar in D.C. is truly the friend of the downtrodden.

Basically Angela Corey thinks DeeDee (Trayvon's girlfriend) is going to be the star witness and corroborate the "walking while black" murder based on hearsay and supposition ...

My favorite part of the affidavit ... "a struggle ensued" ... someone actually took a picture of Angela Corey as she was taking calculus in college:

Are civil rights something that is exclusive to black people or are Mexicans included in civil rights as well? Point being that we have a situation here where potentially a black or a Mexican was going to lose their civil rights.

Had Trayvon killed Zimmerman would the Feds get involved?

If state law gives someone acting in self defense immunity from criminal and civil prosecution and criminal fails and supports Zimmerman, Then the Feds should butt out and respect state law.

I'm with Publius, the logic if this is an overcharge would be that people will have time to calm down and get distracted, and if it does eventually get tossed out the judge is a pretty good scapegoat. Grand jury would have been too quick, need to wait til the media finds something else to dramatically over-cover. Sharpton et al will likely come out, but protesting doesn't generally get you very far with the judicial branch. Hopefully this thing passes with no further violence, and hopefully the new Panthers are being investigated for the various laws they appear to have broken.

If it fell on a judges shoulders could this be a way to gin up support against the Supremes and their Obamacare decision? Naw that would require planing that is beyond D.C. wouldn't it?

Now that the media is showing recent and accurate pictures of Zimmerman's bi-racial but obviously hispanic face, the Obama administration will belay any thoughts of pushing any sort of civil rights violation indictments. The US population is over 16% Hispanic and that is a voting block that Obummer cannot afford to***** off.

Corey's affidavit has to be either a political kowtow all the Sharpton-minded dimwits or a brilliant plan to allow all of the facts that clear Zimmerman of ANY wrongdoing to become written into the public record.

I'd like to think that is is both.

Will the Sharpton-minded dimwits become restless when Zimmerman is acquitted? Probably, but they will just have to get over it.

I have believed that this incident was blown out of proportion intentionally by the puppets masters. The written police report fit the mold they were looking for to carry out a Hegelian dialectic ushering in Martial Law. Problem: White man murders black youth. Reaction: Race Riots. Solution: Martial Law, Gun Control, Gutting of 2nd Amedment, etc. Outcome: King Obama and neo-feudalism.

The problems with using Zimmerman and Martin to play out this chapter from the Cloward and Piven playbook are that Zimmerman looks too hispanic and has a history of advocacy in the African American community and Martin has a history of school suspensions, gang tatts, a gold grill and a large stature.

This would be an excellent opportunity for an accurate, current culture based dialog. Even if TPTB are trying to divide the nation along racial lines, it is still an excellent opportunity for a national dialog on the following points to take away the power of the MSM and the TPTB to divide us along racial lines. Racism does exist, but more so in the Black Community than anywhere else.

Here are some statistics that are easy to find with any internet search engine:

1) African Americans are 12.6% of the US population, yet responsible for 48% of all violent crime. 48% of all violent crime in the US is perpetrated by 12.6% of the population. (Close analysis of the demographics show that AA males between 15 and 30 years old are 40 times more likely to commit a violent crime than any other group.)

2) African Americans account for 39% of the US prison population. 39% of all prisoners come from 12.6% of the total population.

3) African Americans account for one third of all welfare recipients. One third of all welfare recipients come from 12.6% of the total population.

4) 5.9% of all live births in the US are to African American teens from 12.6% of the total US population. (17% of all live births came from teens from the other 86.4% of the population.)

5) 66% of African American households are single parent households. 2 out of 3 African American households are single parent households. (1 out of 4 white households are single parent.)

What do these points mean? They mean that is is high time that a new leader emerges to usher in a new paradigm for African American males.

Somebody needs to step up to the plate and make the pitch that aspiring to be a "Gansta Thug" is a path to both self destruction and destruction of the black community.

MLK tired to inspire African Americans to become full-fledged Americans (regular folks in the middle class in the picket fence neighborhoods of Anytown, USA) through hard work, education and family values. In less than two generations, Tupac and his ilk have torn down everything that MLK worked for by glamorizing violent criminal behavior, drugs, sex, clownish wardrobe and self gratification.

Being a loving, hard working family man just ain't cool while getting high and riding dirty to do some crime with the boyz in the hood is what it's all about.

Live like a thug, die like a thug. What sort of healthcare and retirement plan comes with being a thug?

Is being a gansta thug just a fad? It could be if somebody would invent a new character for black males to emulate. Imagine the glorification of a responsible family man. If you ain't a responsible family man, you ain't ****. How about a cross between Mr. Rogers and Mr. T that could rap like Snoop Dogg but paid his bills on time and was home to eat supper and help the kids with homework every night. That is what the black community needs.

This is the dialog that America needs to have to end racism and end the cycle of destruction in the black community by addressing the issue, which is that black males are focused becoming gansta thugs instead of aspiring to become educated, hard working family men.

Spot on. I have argued for years, no white man can ever help the AA because regardless how true their statements it will always be perceived as a white man talking down to a black.

AA need a leader, most likely a reverend who will tell them their worst enemy is themselves and their culture. And working hard, getting an education, and having a family unit is not "acting white" as it is now framed in the AA community.

I doubt it will happen anytime soon. Think back to the one time Obama made such a statement, Jessie Jackson was caught on a live mic saying he "Wanted to cut his nuts off." Or the events in Washington a few years back where Christian fathers, white and black, assembled (can't think of the organizations name)to address what being a good father was all about and the MSM lampooned them and made fun of them in their reporting.

I have well educated middle and upper income AA friends who say in private and on many candid occasions reflect on how the Progressives/Democrats in their effort to "help" the AA have achieved what the KKK only dreamed of.

Maybe the Z case will trigger the rise of that leader, but it will take a truly charismatic tough talking AA leader to start to turn things around and even if he does appear it will take generations to really get AA on par with other races all the while race hustlers like Sharpton and Jackson try to undermine the efforts to get AA to assimilate into normal everyday society.

I fear an all-out race war in the cities in the near future as the gravy train of free stuff gets cut off. Maybe that leader will rise from those ashes.

Meanwhile, the Miami Herald would like to make sure you don't miss the most important part of this story.

I find when predicting the outcome of these events, one must double down on the cynicism, and then double again.

My guess, is that the PTB will railroad Zimmerman in the very face of all evidence of his innocence. They will even allow all the evidence to be shown, but all the while keeping the Trayvon supporters and New Black Pansies in a state of high agitation.

One, it keeps the readily available riot and looting battalions firmly in the nanny state's camp, ready to be unleashed at will.

Two, it tells everyone else that the law is what the PTB say it is and there's nothing you whiteys can do about it or we'll unleash the mob and prosecute all who try to protect themselves and their property.

I doubt they will ever throw the case out but if they do Holder will try him on a civil rights case.....and then get at least 1 prosecution in during his much lamented tenure as AG...has this guy actually ever prosecuted anyone?

Whichever scenario/strategy has O coming out of this with a messianic glow is the one which will play out.
