I'm not sure I understand why they're pushing this thing so hard. I suppose it is to distract from everything else that is going disastrously for the president. But as soon as you see the pictures of Zimmerman it's obvious that he is Hispanic. It seems to me that the Democrats are going to desperately need the Hispanic vote and I think there is a good chance that this may actually alienate more of that community. The last thing you'd think they'd want is to start a Black/Hispanic race war.

Assassin--the fact that the media is obviously pointing the "facts" in only one direction (see the mention at the top of this article, the fact that they originally portrayed this as a white guy and still call it as a white hispanic--whatever that is--they leak the 13 year old witness' name, smearing the cops with no evidence, his dad didn't even know he was missing for multiple days, the abc video footage purposefully covers up his head for the great majority of the video, the fact that they are showing pictures of trayvon at age 12 rather than current, not mentioning his facebook handle and gang tats, etc) leads me to believe this whole thing stinks and mainly in one direction.

i don't think the ABC News flub is due to bias, but rather to vanity and extreme retardation. they clearly have some morons working there, and putting their small logo in the bottom right isn't enough; they had to plaster "ABC News Exclusive" so nobody would forget who brought us this grainy video. if the contents of the un-bannered video were against ABC's supposed agenda, they simply wouldn't have aired it. instead, they aired with it with self-promotion as their main goal, thus undercutting most of the video's utility in the process.

Nothing like that is accidentally..they definitely preview those kinds of things and they could easily produce the video "fixed" on their website if they wanted to

There seems to be a lot of people approaching this from the standpoint that a 16 year old is dead and therefore the 16 year old is a victim. If someone was robbing a bank and got into a scuffle with a security guard and got shot, nobody would refer to the shot person as the victim. The cops let Zimmerman go because the evidence stacked that no crime had been committed. Had the races been reversed, the cops would have let the black man go.

The fabricating of the 911 call does not surprise me one iota. The media in this country is NOT about news. It only has to do with selling advertising. Its TV entertainment, telling people what they want to hear so that they tune in again and again. I got fed up with these peoples' horse crap a long time ago.
