As for Boomers retiring, I saw on another site that 55+ has a higher participation rate than they have in decades.....which is exactly why so many young people can not find jobs. I for one would rather hire a FORMER worker than some of these lazy slackers who expect everything handed to them.

I like Barry, but he has a slant on his writing that I find difficult to stomach.

Of course we all have our particular points of view, and I'm sure he finds mine revolting from time to time as well smiley

I used to read this guy Ritholtz but then I noticed he has a tendencey to flip flop between "doom and gloom" and "all is well"

The conclusion I came to is that he must be a market timer/swing trader and see's things as per where his book is positioned at any given time.


You just cant trust analysis that comes from that kind of perspective, although I have nothing against a guy talking his book.

and I so do not buy into these government numbers


If I recall correctly I think I stopped reading him about a year and a half ago when I saw him writing "face it, we are in a true recovery" or words to that affect....I dont see that being true at all.
