Could have been more then one doctor in the delivery room. Besides, read the story again, Nelson nor West claim that West actually delivered the baby, that was added by the article writer. Perhaps Dr. West was in charge of the OB floor that day? Seriously, this is flimsy as hell.

Vegas: Good find, that actually makes a lot of sense. Dr. West was Chief of Staff, so he'd have reason to know about the delivery, while Dr. Sinclair ACTUALLY physically delivered Obama.

Isn't being a "birther" kind of like being a "truther"? Both seem to require handy doses of sheer belief (i.e. assumptions entirely predicated on massive government conspiracy) to make it all make sense. "Truthers" (like "birthers") also claim all sorts of coverups, doctored documents, etc that would require the complicity of dozens (or more) of people who all have to keep their collective mouths shut in order to keep the "lie" alive.

Note the distance between OBAMA and OAHU in the faint text and compare it to boxes 6b and 8. Also note that OAHU is not capitalized in the COLB...hmmm...
The dark faint text in box 19a appears to be the original text that belonged in box 23. Maybe someone can figure out what that text says?

I'll make a guess as to the potential embarrassing problem. Sounds like his father could have committed statutory rape. Does anyone have a firm date on Mom's birthday?
When did they move in together? Get married? When did she move to Hawaii?
What did the statute look like in 1961?
The latest they could have had sex was early December, assuming they hit the lottery on the first try. If they moved in together or got married let's say in July or August then there's a chance she was 16 and he was at least 7 years older.
