Very concise, one point you missed is that putting the dollar on your head costs us more money than the twenty since the Primary Dealer sells it to the Federal Reserve at a higher price than they bought it from the Treasury.

More videos like this, please, Karl. It will get TF and MarketTicker more exposure and the message of truth gets out to multiple formats. It's how I found you, on YouTube. smiley Your video presentations are excellent. Please keep them coming!

And to the Republicans and Tea Party Congress ... don't think we're not watching. You failed here. If that's the best you can do, don't get to comfy in those new chairs in D.C.

These are quite time-consuming to produce and edit - it may only be three or four minutes, but it takes a hell of a lot longer to put them together.

I don't think that Congress spends like a drunken sailor. At least in my case I was never able to keep spending after I ran out of money.

Great video, Karl.

The GOP sell-out is useful in that it provides this week's reminder of why I stopped calling myself a Republican. They can pat themselves on the back all they wish - all they bought with this is about 3-4 days of faux solvency - and for that they handed Barry a victory of sorts. Brilliant - The Stupid Party strikes again.

The Democrats? Well I certainly don't expect anything useful out of people who actually think socialism/fascism actually works. And they didn't disappoint.

The only thing I'll offer in defense of the Tea Party (the grassroots folks, not the idiot pols) is that the $38B in cuts is at least $38B more than we would have gotten out of CONgress were it not for the Tea Party. CONgress would probably have actually spent *more* money this year, all the while gnashing their teeth (in public, of course) about the "tough choices" they made.

Yeah, that's pretty weak. I know. But to be honest I didn't expect to get any better out of a government where Harry Reid has a defining role in the process.

So bring on the collapse - it's not a matter of "if" anymore, only "when" and "how".

For many years, total credit outstanding and government spending have grown faster than the U.S. economy. I believe that measures (tariffs) to "level the playing field" in international trade, as regards wages and regulation (Denninger Doctrine) would result in better wages, hence more government revenues and more consumption. This could become a virtuous cycle and help more than may first appear.

They're a bitch to set up due to what I have to do to make it work, but I'll keep with that as long as it makes sense.

Bravo.

One thing I need help with is the flow of investing of a country like Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Iran, Saudi, or China, who wind up with more US$ than there is our stuff available to buy. I suppose most of it is lent back to us to finance our deficit and things like SNAP cards and Americorps. Because the Euro is approaching 1.5 I'm guessing our lenders are diversifying into that to cover themselves. Which only depresses the dollar we use to buy crude oil...

This article talks briefly about central banks laying off their $ to other currencies like the Euro
http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/132360/2....

My only objection to your video is the term “spending money like drunken sailors.” From personal experience military people are pretty careful with money. I'll nominate “spending money like drunken social workers.” All the ones I know are making close to or more than 6 figures for a 4 hour day.

Karl, That reminds me of an old joke.

"Hey, so you'd do anything for a dollar?"
"Yep"
"Ok"
*Takes out dollar bill, wipes it up against bare butt-cheek, hands it over."
"Here ya go!"

On another note, hey at least we got them to stop expanding the budget...right? Uh...Wait A Minute.

Nice video, but you should have used a $100, they seem to wipe a little smoother. smiley

You also forgot to mention that everyone is getting "richer" because every single American is long stocks, so they'll be able to keep ahead of all the other rising costs if they just ride the bubble. Who needs a stinking job?

Oh wait, if that was true, they'd have to SELL to actually be able to pay the bills, so what good does the rising market do again?

In the long run even the most despotic governments with all their brutality and cruelty are no match for ideas. Eventually the ideology that has won the support of the majority will prevail and cut the ground from under the tyrant's feet and rise in rebellion to overthrow their masters.

So Inkt, have you suddenly become blind? There's an example of what happens to those who fail to properly categorize their speech in this thread already. I'll be happy to add you to that group if you'd like.

There are certain topics that, if you wish to discuss them, require membership. This is one of them.

Karl, that was a splendid job but you need to go one step further. You need to say and call out the Republicans for supporting the banks and businesses who steal from the American public and want the American public to think its natural and normal for the thievery. I wont ask the Republicans admit they are wrong as they never admit anything wrong doing. They will blatantly lie again and again before admitting anything to your face.

Call out the Democrats for being enablers and not having the fortitude do do what they know is right.

Let's face it, some people don't want to connect the dots or see the dots or see the dots and don't know what they mean.

In others words, some folks cant handle the truth. Watch some of them on this blog.

This madness has to be stopped and Pres Obama, as far as I can see, isn't the man for the job and neither is Atty General Holder.
