If they add Censorship and Electronic Surveillance they can be BATFECES.

The BATFE must be getting paid off. It's the only explanation that makes sense.

Paid off? Nah, rampant lawlessness is all around in the States now. Nothing should surprise anyone anymore. Morals are down all time lows, elites never get prosecuted for jail time no matter what they do etc...
Everything will get only worse and worse I am afraid, until people wake up. Or things just fall apart when justice system ceases to function totally.

Justice too. Se llama 'mordita'.
"We're doing it to take down a big cartel!" Then nothing happens.
It would almost be funnier than **** if it wasn't so sad for that Border Agent's family, and dangerous for the borderlands.

I'd bet on the supposition that "gun walking" was an attempt to get an increased budget and additional loss of freedom vis-a-vis the further erosion of the 2nd Amendment.
I don't trust any more the motives of any government agency, including the head of any of these agencies, to attempt to actually protect and serve the American people. If they're not on the take, they're looking to increase their power.
People need to wake up and realize there's not a single part of the government, near as I can tell, that is trying to serve the citizens and taxpayers of the USA.

I'd say that Tesla has the most reasonable explanation - supply the guns then point the finger - witness the border state multi sale long rifle reporting they were talking about - isn't that convenient, supply the guns then blame the gunstores.

Two words:
1. Negligent 2. Homocide
Each agent that cannot demonstrate his/her opposition to the watch and see policy needs to be charged with negligent homicide and that includes those who are involved in the "Justice" Department up to and including Eric Holder.
It is time to punish as severely as the law allows all government agents who refuse to perform the duties they have a legal obligation to by the contract they sign. No exceptions, no excuses, no complaining.
Here in Onalaska, WI a police officer was charged with negligent homicide and is awaiting trail when she sailed through a red light at a controlled intersection killing a 16 year-old that crossed behind a 2nd car. She was black boxed at driving 108 MPH, if my memory serves me right.
I personally don't see what facts are in dispute here and question the need for a trial, as summary judgment seem very reasonable, skipping the lengthy expensive trail that will be forced to find her guilty as defined under the law, in effect rendering the trail a formality to issuing a sentence.
Let this accountability start all over the country.

Oh, do you think letting firearms be trafficked across national borders as the official government policy forced Obama's hand here? In other words, if there a causal or spurious relationship between the public broadcast of the aforementioned SNAFU and allowing Mexican trucks to drive in the US? I wonder whether Mexican American voters will be bothered by the fact that innocent Mexican lives are clearly considered expendable as long as their deaths are a consequence of a half-baked attempt to build a criminal case. Whose bright idea was this and who knew about the policy? Word is that it was hotly debated within ATF for a long time. Can we trace it back to Holder? Si su puede.

This isn't the first blood on the hands of this gang. They were behind shooting the Walkers at Ruby ridge and the Waco mess before the FBI and Nat. Guard were dragged in. Both those started as gun lae violations. They love to go in military fashion. They got handed their asses first round at Waco. Corrupt, cowardly and lawless themselves. They have the goal of putting every gun dealer in America out of business. The ultimate end run gun control.

I think Tesla has it right. What part of our existing government has demonstrated any legitimacy?
Other than the occasional BK judge, I'm straining to find examples...

If anyone doubts this, just google "Lon Horiuchi" Sadly, the federal supremacy abuse in that case is a likely template for future shielding of criminal actions by government agents.

Does anyone remember when the Waco raid was carried out? Right after 60 Minutes did an expose on the ATF?
Of course there are politics involved, but where there are politics there will always be money. And the most important money to the people at the levers of power is not necessarily what CONgress appropriates. I'm talking about the most important money to them personally. Especially when -- despite their standing among "the smartest people in the room" -- they find themselves slaving away for mere six-figure government wages.
One tenth of what went on with the tens of millions of drug money that was funneled through Mena, Arkansas, under Clinton AND Bush I, has not come out. And it never will in this life.
Now these people are LOOTING THE COUNTRY before our very eyes. Anyone who thinks there's some level to which they will not stoop on behalf of their own personal avarice had better think again.

There are no options left besides each individual defending themselves in a lawful manner.
Let's a take a page out of our govt's foreign policy... "PREEMPTIVE self-defense" against all people, govt. officials, govt. agents, banksters, etc. who are harming or about to harm us.

Let's not forget the kidnappings and people being held for ransom south of the border as well to add to the list of what the guns would be used for. But since we walk terrorist onto planes with bombs, why should this be surprising?

And take a look at Bill Black's "Gresham's Dynamic" in full-force operation. Only this go 'round it's not corrupting or running off the competent regulators and accountants of the banksters. Now it's corrupting or running off competent law enforcement officers. Here was a BATFE agent who was willing to sacrifice his career to blow the whistle. Now what kind of a numb-nuts stormtrooper should we expect that he will be replaced with? Meanwhile, I wonder what's happening at Justice while that department is in the midst of turning a blind eye to the greatest financial fraud in the history of the world? Yeah but, not really. I already know thanks to Bill... http://reimaginingeconomics.mirocommunit....

Could be that the administration has a simple goal: chaos in Arizona. If so, they are achieving it. They sue Arizona for enforcing immigration laws, they allow Calderone to denounce Arizona on the floor of Congress, they attack Sheriff Joe for tough law enforcement, they enable illegal firearms sales in Arizona, then arm the border control agents with bean bags...... Is this the path toward that new "21st century border" Obama and Calderone announced in their press conference this week?

An anti-2nd Amendment arm of the government intentionally providing ammunition for anti-2nd Amendment propaganda. Color me shocked.
Also, let's not forget how many Mexicans are killed every year as a direct consequence of our Drug War, even when we aren't directly supplying the cartels and gangs with their weapons.
Law enforcement in the US has nothing to do with the law anymore. The law is merely a fiction, an excuse, selectively applied only to the politically unconnected.
A rapidly expanding criminalization of nearly all conceivable behavior is simply a tool to give police effectively unlimited power and privilege over the citizenry, and half the sheep in the country are fine with it because they've been trained that anything's okay as long as it's "the law".
The 13th Amendment might as well not exist.
