Many here are awake, but I don't think the quite understand what revolution/collapse mean.

You can't stop it. Not now. To stop it you have to halve EVERYTHING this minute! Medicare, pensions, social security, defense, state, federal, everything sliced in half. Maybe then we could get ahead of interest rates.However, when they want to take as little as 5% away look at the circus that happens. That is a small fraction of what we need to stop the spiral and things are getting out of control already. It's already over, but the credits haven't started playing yet.

Thats the biggest joke of them all about the debt. People look at 14 trillion +2 more every year and think its just a number. When in reality it almost ensures a world or civil war within 20 years.

Got it on the first try in just a few seconds, and while I've never quite heard the phrasing put together like that, I completely and whole heartily agree with your sentiments!

If you trace the chain of this problem to the top, I think one of the first and easiest changes to make that would help alleviate this problem would be by capping the years of service for congress and senate. The “you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours” mentality is what snowballs into the **** we have now. People in power wanting to keep and gain power. It’s human nature that if you have to choose what’s best for you vs. what’s best for others…the majority of people think of their own survival first.

For-profit sector unions are ok, because it’s a group of people fighting over slices of THEIR OWN INDIVIDUAL pie. There is no place for a public union however do to the structure of government.

Don't try to pass yourself off as a savior of the middle-class. The middle-class is dying precisely because of you union parasites. In fact, the unions support the same president who is in bed with Wall Street.

Obummer seems to be having a bit of trouble realizing the predicament he's placing himself in. In Wisconsin, we have an executive who can't get any cooperation from the minority party. Guess who is in the executive spot in DC?

Exactly why I said that WHEN (not IF) violence breaks out...it will not be us vs. the government (the real enemy), but us vs. us (we've long missed the window where we should have stormed DC, it's too late for that now)...and those of us who are productive in this country are FAR outnumbered by those who live off of our labor.

Peaceful protests in DC (or anywhere) by those of us who contribute to the system would simply be turned against us for wanting 60%+ of Americans to starve after we've "made our fortunes".

Their job is so easy now...simply pit us against each other ("Republicans want "hard working people" to starve...are you gonna let them?!" "Democrats want to steal everything you make, are you gonna let them?!") and they'll sit back and watch while the economy crumbles as we've all predicted. They won't even get the blame because we're going to be too busy fighting ourselves to blame the bankers and the government for looting this country dry...and THEY WILL GET AWAY WITH IT.
