Oh, Protective Orders Now Eh? (Denied)

Now we have Fannie trying to prevent you from knowing that GMAC, another government company, has apparently engaged in "careless" affidavit processing despite being under court order not to at the time.

What?

Yep, they asked for a protective order to prevent you from reading this.

Since it was denied, I'm going to make damn sure you can read it, and you should read it.

Since when is fraud upon the court not a matter of public interest, and why is our government trying to have evidence of outright fraud by private parties sealed?

"That the testimony reveals corporate practices that GMAC finds embarrassing does not justify issuance of a protective order." LOL

It went completely over my head that Federal National Mortgage Association is Fannie Mae; I was thinking they were just another servicer.

smiley

That makes this even more damning than it appeared at first. Geezus, what kind of government do we have?

If you're surprised by this you haven't been paying attention. The people of this country have been thoroughly, profoundly, and deliberately betrayed by ALL its major institutions.

When your re-election campaign is dependent on it not coming out.

Hey this might damage all that saving of the financial sector Tim, Barack, and Ben have been up to.

The only two things the President can brag about is he passed a crappy health care bill that will make things worse and he saved the financial system.

Looks like he is down to crappy healthcare bill soon.

Since there is an interest in following the paper trail, you might be able to make some sense of this info from FDIC.

I followed the links to documents and financial info but I lack the background info to evaluate what is being said or what is OMITTED.
I hope this will help.

I think the questions is this: Does the whole mortgage mess story have legs yet? The players are trying so hard to sweep this under the rug and the main stream media appears to be fully assisting them. Saw a story about this on Fox News yesterday and they made no mention of document fraud, creating fraudulent court documents or any of the important factors in these cases.

This is really frustrating to see a scandal of this size basically ignored by the media. It doesn't surprise me, but still, has our country lost all sense of justice any time bankers are involved? Apparently so.

I pray to God these jerk wads are exposed and eventually perp walked.

@Ct1977

From an Elliot Wave/Socionomic perspective, third waves are psychologically waves of recognition when reported news and observed behavior get in sync . . .

"Yikes, this bull[bear] market is really real!"

. . . and this adds to why third waves are never the shortest and often are longest.

By some counts, we're at a cusp of a bunch of nested third waves. It would be entirely fitting for this type of news to finally "stick" and get widespread recognition. And if we are embarking on that E-ticket 3rd-of-a-3rd-of-a-3rd ride, look for more stories of widespread corruption to gain MSM traction.

Does it really matter anymore? The sheeple has had enough. They are walking away from their mortgages and not looling back. They have learned their lesson not to do business with loan sharks ever again. Howard Beale said it best:

"It's like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don't go out any more. We sit in the house, and slowly the world we're living in is getting smaller, and all we say is, "Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel-belted radials, and I won't say anything. Just leave us alone."

Perhaps.

I caught a piece of an interview they had on GMA this morning where they were discussing this. They talked about robo-signers and fraudulent documents. The "expert" (sorry, don't remember her name) told those in foreclosure to fight it, that they shouldn't surrender their house to someone who forged documents and/or don't have a clear title.

Have FNM and FRE been ring fenced yet? This migh change if they become ring-fenced.

Nice that the judge awarded attorney fees and expenses because the conduct was so egregious.

Easy, because this whole thing is on the brink of collapse. To think the S&P 500 is nearly 60% higher than it's March 2009 lows - in an economy in FAR worse shape than it was then, and all built on lies, fraud and obfuscation, you can see where they are coming from. They are panicked this scam is going to unravel. The paradoxical irony is - by their trying to hide it, they are only making the ultimate outcome worse, as lies & scams are ALWAYS exposed eventually.

Total collapse is inevitable. How could it not when it's all build on fraud?

In the long run even the most despotic governments with all their brutality and cruelty are no match for ideas. Eventually the ideology that has won the support of the majority will prevail and cut the ground from under the tyrant's feet and rise in rebellion to overthrow their masters.
