It is my opinion that Imadinnerjacket has just threatened to nuke The United States, and he is clearly acquiring the material necessary to do so.
That is a bit of a stretch don't ya think? I missed that part. Where did he say was going to nuke the U.S? That's not even possible. I'm just wondering how those protest are going over there today. The youth of Iran need to stand firm. The leaders of that country are hardheaded, hopefully they can be swayed without too much trouble. Same here as well.

I have this fear of a missile launched off a tanker one day that sends us back to the 18th century. Some people effect of an EMP are overstated but it still concerns me.
I wonder how fast the world would come and help power up America and what they would want in return.

And if Iran launched a missile at CONUS, Tehran would be a glass parking lot even before the boosters cut off. We still have "boomers", and I can guarantee you they are not all rusting in harbor. |

I assume from his view Israel and the US are one and the same. They will hit the hated Jews first most likely. Obama and company will sit and listen to what the man says and then assert it isn't what he believes to his face. Reality is what they say it is. When you have two reality deniers ignoring each other it can't come to a good end. After they use the nuke perhaps the denial will end. If they do use the nuke on the US maybe they will hit DC with Congress in session. In many ways that would be the best thing they could do for us. Iran as a nation would probably not exist three days later.

FWIW, equally so, there is a significant group of "fundamentalist christian agitators" working to speed Christ's coming. In their view that requires that Jerusalem be wiped from the Earth. They are working to remove the roadblocks that they perceive exist to enable this to happen ... certain esoteric prophecies.

I may be off-the-mark a bit on the Jerusalem part ... may be has to do w/ rebuilding the temple in Jerusalem. I think there are several interrelated "prophesies" in this regard.
I don't pay it much attention because I don't really think God needs our help to decide when to show-up next time.

Something has to be done about all the 10th century religious fanatics in the mid east.
My solution is to build a wall around the entire region, give every living person a knife and let 'em all fight it out. The last man standing gets the entire ****hole. Perfect solution because they all hate each other as much as they hate us.

I'm sorry but they said the same things about Saddam Hussain and Iraq....that was utter BS and it it has cost us many lives and Billions of $$$$. They have just transfered it to Iran and Imablowjob. He has become the go to guy for the Axis of evil crowd. I am a conservative but this line in the sand bull**** has to stop. We simply can't afford to keep playing world cop. Oil is important and that is why we are there. We as a nation could give 2 ****s about that area of the world with out the Black soup in the equation so we invent an advisary that requires a base there to protect our interest and "world Democracy". How about working on the Democracy here at home first and then get worked up about the land of a thousand kings and there BS. I for one am sick of it.

This is typical Ahmadinejad rhetoric and nothing more. They want build one so they can join the club, just as all the other non-nuke countries want. Or at least threaten to build one in order to buy political favor among global superpowers.
Please keep in mind that the majority of Iranians aren't religious zealots - they're rational, and mostly western-thinking. And they aren't stupid.
