Disgusting, the Roger Clemens meeting the room was full. The FED meeting, empty. Our country is screwed

There's a pinned thread in the FedUp subforum to discuss today's hearing.

Inez the rate cut in August 2007 was a discount window rate cut. I just like Gen (and anyone else who was short that day) remember it very well because I proceeded to have a colonoscopy without any drugs.

KD...a question. The FRN is a note payable. Is it possible the instrument puts the Fed under UCC and therefore admiralty jurisdiction, and in that manner the Fed can get around the constitution?

This bill really needs to pass and while I have higher hopes it will in the House than the Senate, I can see virtually NO chance that Obama would sign it. Afterall, he himself has praised Bernanke and renominated him to continue his crimes at the Fed. To sign a final bill on this would be a complete contradiction.

Hey Schwantz...what we are engaged in is NOT communism or even socialism. It is called fascism, plain and simple. When you have a police/national security state wedded to corporations, that is fascism. In communism or socialism, if done according to the book, at least you and I and all the other little people would benefit to some degree from OUR ownership of the means of productions, etc. Under the current fascism, and by the fascism book, it is the self-appointed ruling "elite" that own, operate, and benefit heavily from the system.

I haven't received MY dividend/bonus for my part of the ownership of BoA, Citi, GS, JPM, etc. Did you receive yours?

The Fed is part and parcel to this whole thing. Private bankers and wall street criminals controlling the money supply, the monetary policy, and the "regulation" of...themselves. Yeah, THAT has to end well (sure does for THEM but not for US).

Gen, thanks for the great ticker. However, I think asking our Legislative branch to pass 1207 is a pipe dream. As others have said, is our President going to sign a bill exposing Bernanke, and implicating a huge number of very powerful and connected folks? Not a chance -- unless, as someone else said, it ends up being nothing but "window dressing" with no real substance...

Steve

I am considering a small claims court vs C to get my clawback on bonuses. Also one on BAC for the Mer Lyn deal. If we all do this against them and others we could clog the system and
