HA! Karl, the post too Funny! Unfortunately, the reality is not. These scum club members do completely believe that they are entitled to their member benefits. They are the epiphany of pompous arrogance. You know, like Dukes, Earls and Kings. How dare us serfs question their Magnificence. Serfs are to be see and not herd, unless spoken to. Shame on you.

They just don't care. Or they lack common sense. Or both. These companies are doomed under these kind of leadership.

hahaha! Holy sh** that was funny. Good one, KD!

I feel like an enemy army has invaded the country and taken us over. The calls and letters going to congress must be as large, if not larger, against the auto bailout as they were against the financial services bailout (100+ to 1). But they are preparing to push this dog through too! What the hell is an ordinary citizen to do? How could anyone take our representative democracy seriously anymore? Stop the train! I want to get off!

Gen, Great visuals!

Between the news of private jets for bailout hearings, $500 bottles of wine for the G20 Crisis dinners and the headline that Obama's inauguration could actually bankrupt D.C....I don't think there is anything else much to say except I am getting a much better grasp of what the French Revolution was all about (especially after visiting Versailles and the opulence that was amazing at that historical time).

"Let them eat cake" has taken on a new meaning!

Great Ticker!

What is even worse is that if they do get the bailout...to save jobs...there will still be huge layoffs so that they can continue to pay for thier private jet rides.

I'm a Captain on a 36M dollar aircraft(not GM). It costs about 6K an hour, the ride from Detroit and back is peanuts, agreed it doesn't look good but at this point I feel there is a legitimate security concern for the CEOs. Imagine an airliner full of share holders!

These CEOs have no shame. Absolute resounding NO to these "BIG 3"

They must go under asap. We need all big fat lazy incompetent companies to fall and disintegrate like big old trees falling in the forest so that new ones can sprout. That's what America is all about. Let Tesla motors be the next GM

That sums it up the problem in corporate America today.

It is not my money. I will lock in my take, leverage up 30X, travel and spend like a terminaly ill drunk salior with a stolen credit card. **** everyone else. It is not my problem. I did not build the business so if it falls apart on my watch oh well. I will be made whole with my board approved bullet proof severance package. I am entitled to it.

Well **** you Wagoner, Mullali, and Nardelli.

You can give them even whatever billions, they will waste it all and ask for more claiming "Too big to fail" It's like pouring water in a bucket that has several holes.

Legitimate security concern? They gutted our rail system, ripped off the American people, crammed bad products down our throats, and forfeited our future. For a crime that large they SHOULD forfeit their lives.
